关于行李请教师兄师姐[问题]

听人说金属的东西最好托运，要不会开箱检查，而流体的东西要放在随身的箱子里，不能托运．是这样的吗？那么什么爽肤水，乳液，洗发水，沐浴液之类水状或霜状的都不能放在托运的箱子是吗？不知道关于行李还有什么其他需要注意的地方？请师兄师姐提供一些宝贵经验，非常感谢！

我也买的真空带。我觉得这些洗护用品放在随身的箱子中就行了吧。我想问是不是随身只能带一样东西，一个箱子或是背一个书包？

什么爽肤水，乳液，洗发水，沐浴液之类水状或霜状的: if you do not want to be exhausted on your way to usa, better to 放在托运的箱子里.
do not bring metal things with you, put them into the luggage transported by airline company

take with you follwoing things: personal documents including but not limited to passport, i-20, i-94( you will get it on plane), visa ( should be sticked to your passport), communication information including the name and telephone number who you will contact when you arrive usa, cash, laptop computer, fragile things, camera( if you want to keep some memory on your way to usa), some reading material( for the long time you are onboard), walkman/diskman/md( up to your habit, not required).
do not take following things with you: any type of knife and scissor, anything prohibited by air company to be onboard, documents only valid in china such as chinese citizen ID card.
try not to take with you: metal things, pirated cd/vcd/dvd.
try not to take into usa: agriculture product
