Job Title: Senior Associate or Counsel
BU: Labor, Employment & Benefits
Location: Shanghai
We are seeking a senior labor lawyer with 6-10 years solid experience related to employment law to join our Labor, Employment & Benefits practice group. We expect the qualified candidate to provide top domestic and foreign corporations within China a full range of services on labor and employment matters which include daily operation issues, structuring, employment related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, executive transfers and benefits, social insurance, as well as litigation/arbitration.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduated from a top tier law school with a Bachelor’s degree or above;
- Thorough knowledge and undertaking of labor and employment rules and regulations in China;
- Qualified to practice in the PRC preferred;
- 6-10 years practicing experience in labor law related field in reputable law form or in Human Resource daily practice at multi-national company;
- Experience at international and domestic Chinese arbitration tribunals and courts; liaising with judicial and administrative authorities is a plus;
- Effective interpersonal abilities with a particular ability to thrive in a team-oriented working environment;
- Aptitude for project management and leadership, ability to deliver training and mentoring to junior colleagues;
- Ability to foster professional relationships with clients and develop detailed, tailored documentation for clients.
Job Title: Associate/Senior Associate
BU: White Collar & Securities Defense
Location: Shanghai
We are seeking an associate with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience to join our White Collar & Securities Defense team in providing top domestic and foreign corporations operating within China compliance-related legal services.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduated from a top tier law school with a Bachelor’s degree or above;
- Working experience at international and domestic Chinese arbitration tribunals, courts, other judicial and governmental authorities is preferred;
- 5+ years PQE in the field of regulatory compliance or related fields;
- Qualified to practice in the PRC;
- Excellent writing and oral communication capabilities in both English and Chinese;
- Effective interpersonal abilities with a particular ability to thrive in a team-oriented working environment;
- Aptitude for project management and leadership, ability to deliver training and mentoring to junior colleagues;
- Ability to foster professional relationships with clients and develop detailed, tailored documentation for clients.
