The aerospace engineering department at the University of Kansas has a new opening for a research assistant. Under the supervision of faculties from the University of Kansas and Utah State University, the research assistant is responsible for studying aero-acoustics, which may include both simulation and experiment. The project should ideally lead to a PhD dissertation. The supervising faculties are responsible for providing feedback and assessment. An ideal candidate should have an aerospace/mechanical or other related engineering background. The candidate is expected to start in early 2020.
