Hi officer, can we get the result in this week? I sent an email to ISS last week to check my software engineering program application status, however, I didn’t get any update.

It means the committee is still evaluating your application. That's why the person in charge can't tell you the result.

It also applys to EBAC program application right? If I do not get any response from ISS email address, it means our application is still in progress.
