Technological improvements raise the speed of communication, which is more and more important in modern society. Without telephones, people would take lots of days to get a message or letter. But now, with the usage of telephones, people can know things within just several minutes. Therefore, technology is very important to our society. Along with the improvement of technology, the pace of life is in high speed.

Furthermore, technology greatly enhances the quality of life. To illustrate this point clearly, here is an example that is very persuasive. As we know, air conditioning is helpful to our modern life. Whenever the climate is hot or cold, it would make our life comfortable. Another example is the invention of the washing machine, it makes our life more convenient now than the past. Thus, technology enhances the property of life.

In sum, with the improvement of technology, the quality of life is greatly raised. Technology is important to our modern society.
