Many people believe that a few individuals or small groups (family, friends, teachers, celebrities, for example) have caused them to think and behave in the way they do. Yet it is always society as a whole that defines us and our attitudes, not a few individuals.

Everyone was born as an individual, but living as a member of a group. Only by the imitation of our parents can we learn the basics for our daily life. And it is also true that by learning from the other individuals that we contact everyday can we growing more sophisticated for a better life. So it is inevitable that we are inclined to be led to think and behave in the way of someone, which is actually the instinct of us.

It is our parents who are the first to cause us to behave like they are. We have all achieved that without realization. There are "wolf boys", who are taken from their human mother by some female wolves. Afterwards they learned to behave like wolves, which shows the learning inclination inside us all. The instinct of first learning defines us as human beings, who can walk with 2 feet, eat with folks or chopsticks, talk with tough and think with brain.

However, when we have grown up, the instinct is no longer the dominant factor in the process of imitation. After setting up the goal of one's life, one can always find the man of his aim. He is the dream of him, who serves consequently as the model to learn from. You want to be as gentle, popular, kind-hearted, and wealthy as him, so that you may even copy his walking, dressing, hairdo, and talking, even if you deny that.

The society is like a huge plant, which is consisted of many cells, including the individuals and groups as well as other possible ingredients. The society as a whole is the entire circumstance nurturing every one of us. It defines us since we grow in it, feed on it, and is part of it. A few individuals can at most influence us severely, but never determine our nature. It is not strange to hear someone changing his attitudes towards working after reading some article, or learn someone deciding to become Christian after looking through the Holy Bible.

It is quite good for one to learn from others, since that's how we better ourselves. But it should not go too far because there is no absolutely good man existing on earth. You need to judge before you make a change to your style so that a better result is ensured. At the same time, you are an individual yourself. You are able to influence others too. Your change would not be the change for yourself only, which may even affect others’ attitude. As a man with responsibility to the society, you can make a change to it by just bettering yourself a little.

在此次写作开始后，专门花了十分钟仔细思考了结构和内容，虽然因此只有35分钟能用来写作，但由于思路清晰，所以速度反而较上一篇更快，而且扣题方面也比第一篇有了提高。以后这个习惯一定要坚持下去。

另外,pooh，sophisticated的含义我查了一下mw，如下：

可见，这个词还是可以用来正面的表示一个人善于处事的。
