而且众多版本的翻译也是这样的，但我还是偏向于悬念、推理小说？

那么如果是detective novel的话，可以说福尔莫斯的侦探小说也是算literary classics了
看来这个classic涵盖的范围应该是很广的：只要higest excellent就行了
