Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.

=========正文=============
Is it true that only when education is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student, it will be truly effective? The speaker claims so. However, I disagree with the conclusion.

First of all, the purpose of education is to cultivate qualified talents for society and ultimately promote the development of society. Therefore, education plays an important pole in the progress of society: by education the history and culture essence of a nation can be inherited by generations, it is the education that let us look at the world in scientific eyes and to think logically. However, what is the truly effective way for education to realize its purpose and pole? Is it to meet the individual needs and interests of each student? Of course, the answer is no. It is known that students, especially before entering colleges, dose not possess thorough and systematic ideas yet, which means that they do not have know, or have not reasonable idea for their true needs, meanwhile the interests of students are often not constant. For this reason, it appeared the compulsory education, which make the education before college to be a law whether your have interests or not.

In addition, knowledge learned in school is the basis for students' further studying when they enter society. And the knowledge will ensure that students will receive well-rounded education, which benefit their well development. Consequently, regardless of their interest and needs, the studying of these courses is necessary. Mathematics, which will cultivate students' logical thinking, for example, is very useful for the studying in any field. Also, the basic scientific knowledge, such as the evolutionism put forward by Darwin, sun is the center of solar galaxy and so on. Moreover, history is contribute students to understand the past of their own country, the studying of psychology will guarantee that students treat success and failure in correct attitudes etc. All of these courses are not arranged according to students' needs and interests, but they must learn, because they will profit from the learning these courses. If all of the courses is determined by the needs and interests of students, all them will be partially educated, which is unfavorable not only for students, but also to society.
  
Admittedly, interest is the mother of learning. Interest will motivate students' talents and help them to succeed. Several examples serve to illustrate this. Darwin, which is the famous biologist of England, for instance, it is the motivated by interest in biology that make him finished the five years trip around the world, collected large amount of specimen and finally wrote the famous Origin of Species, which even today is the basic theory in nature. Similarly, Beethoven, Watt, both the success of them should thanks to their interests in the field.

To sum up, the purpose of education is to cultivate qualified talents for society and ultimately promote the development of society. While the interest is the mother of learning, when it impedes the purpose of education, the compulsory education is necessary.

[限时,能写出这么的文章来,很不简单了,只是可能太快,出了点语法或拼写错误吧,老外不会看的那么细的]
[至于思路么我觉的你论述的挺严密的,有说服力](就是admittedly 那段既然你说了兴趣的作用,我觉的应该点明以下根据学生爱好开设一些课程是必要的,这样也有利于学生自身潜力的发觉freedom to one’s best)

瞎说两句

1  个人觉得很严密了:)
2  Admittedly一段与结尾的衔接略显突兀 是不是段尾加一句类似于when there's no conflict between personal  interests and the purpose of education, it is specially designed education, which meets individual needs and interests that will be truly effective.
3  同意上面的说 结尾变换句式
  To sum up,even if interest is the spur of learning, when it impedes the purpose of learning, which is to nurture intellectuals contributing to the development of our society, the compulsory education is necessary.
    本人新手一个,还望指教!^^
