The speaker claims that the highest ethical and moral standards are necessary for an effective leader. However, I disagree with the conclusion.

It is known, to be an effective leader, he or she must possess competitive capacity. Without competition, first of all, a man cannot emerge from the rivals and to be a leader; further, a leader, who has not sufficient competitive sense, would not bring about the advancement of the collective. As a leader in business field, if the corporate bankrupted under his or her leadership in that cannot compete with other companies in the same field, none would say the leader is an effective one. Similarly, for leaders in academic field, only when the research in his or her laboratory always go ahead and continuously proceed, he or she cannot be regarded as an efficient leader. All of these indicate that in contemporary society, filled with acute competition, the competitive sense and capacity of a leader is the most important factor to ensure his or her effectiveness.

In addition, an effective leader must have understand how to completely exert the strength of collective-that is, to make groups agglomerate into a wholeness to try hard toward the same goal. For example, Roosevelt, one of the greatest presidents in American history, implemented the New Deal in the Great Depression to guide the whole Americans to shake off the threat of economical depression. Also, in the primary stages of reform, all of Chinese people, under the leading of Deng xiaoping, to develop economy and today’s China become one of countries with rapidest economic increase rate. Moreover, the leaders as the soccer team, or basketball team etc. are also obvious examples to illustrate my opinion. All of these examples tell us that an effective leader should know how to stimulate the activeness and exploit potential capacity of each member in the groups.

Admittedly, possessing certain ethical and moral standards is the basic requirement for humanity, so do leaders.  High ethical and moral standards, which will help a leader gain the trust and respect of general public, will inevitably contribute to his or her leadership. Big Gates, the richest man in America, often donate charitable institutions. Also, in the severe disaster of tsunami recently occurred in the Indian Ocean, many major companies contribute donation to Red Cross. We cannot how a man without necessary ethical and moral standards can be selected as leader, or how he or she avoids the destiny of being eliminated.

To sum up, high ethical and moral standards will benefit a public official's leadership, however, to be effective leader, his or her comprehensive capacity rather than ethical and moral standards will determine his efficiency.

一句里面两个语法错误
1. that 不可以省略，it is known that...
2。must 后面要用原型！

应该是who has no....而不是not!， has no sufficient competitive sense也不地道，改成who has no sense of competition.  这里collective用的也不好，改称the public吧

in that 这个从句没有主语！而且这个句子太罗嗦了，用了两个field。

扣题不是太紧，对题目分析不够，题目问的是ethical and moral standards, 你就应该围绕应不应该在道德上有要求，积极是否必须要最高的道德标准来讨论。虽然你最后一段也涉及到了，但是其他的花费的笔墨太多，当然其他方面也可以写，写作一段就好了，写成两个body似乎多了点
