to franky, I might be wrong to discuss your situation being not only
involved in the improvement of spoken E, but concerned of overall.
I just hope that you would be getting into the right track, doing the
right things, frivolously conclude no more. As you know, by reading
my thread, it can be seen that I emphasized the promotion of verbal
English on how to improve your overall ability in terms of grammatical,
listening, and even writing areas. More specifically, you'd better firstly
correct your pronunciation through the improvement of listening. Once
you cannot pick up the correct accent as the standard one, it's not easy
to rule out problems with your pronunciation. Still, I believe you are able
to speak fluently English (coz 640 talks, emm~), but the meaning of verbal
indicates more the sphere of grammatical contact in daily life. So once again,
the less grammatical problems you have, the better your spoken English will be.
That's what I have beening honestly saying to you. If it doesn't work to you,
no worries, shake it off.
danny,
I'm not intending to wrangle about right n wrong. As following the conversation
in here, I wrote what I said. Regarding the sentences I mentioned above, they
themselves were in the way of spoken English. Not slangs but they turned to
what natives used to say. However, I can't see what the grammatical problems
you pointed out as I didn't emphasize the further conversations between us, in
which someone would probably be saying that kinda idioms. Btw, crap=B.S./S
(but slightly saying...) can be seen as the adj. Crappy is totally different. (and
have you realise that I say the sentences, which is similar with the last topic we
had argued? when we use article 'the' should be emphasis/emphases followed.
It might not be saying like 'have anyone seen the movies (I have mentioned)
above' without above or anything you meant to emphasize or to mention again.
Though we could understand what it exactly means, you know what, it's not
that correct.
Once again, no one wrangles about right and wrong. Have fun. |
