56 Governments should focus more on solving the immediate problems of today rather than trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future.
The immediate problems are so urgent that call for prompt solving. But government should also focus on future problems for they may come to be the immediate problems for future generation. However, as the resource of every government is limited, in my opinion, government should focus more on solving the immediate problems in front of them.

Solving immediate problems of today is a guarantee to the normal running of the society.  If violence happens, governments certainly have to solve the problem immediately. Also, take the problem of peasant’s income in my country as an example. Our government implemented systematical policies to make sure that the peasant could sustain a basic live standard, these polices including decreasing the tax of farming, increasing the price of farm products and so on. Although education of peasants is also a problem that in the future will influence the whole development of our country, the government has to put it in the second place considering the urgence of the peasant's living problem . From these we can see that for governments the question is generally not should but must to solve the immediate problems.

Solving the immediate problems is also a test of governments’ ability, so it is vital in earning the support of their people. Citizens judge a government mostly by how they solve the present problems not how they solve the future problems that actually are difficult to judge. Transportation problem is one of the major problems in front of many governments. A government's achievement in solving this problem can be showed by how many roads or crossroads are built. If the government also try to solve the anticipate problems in the future, such as more and more vehicle would run on the road, they have to build longer and wider roads than present need. The government will not be lauded but be criticized, for anticipation may not definitely happen and it is a waste of present resources. Government should focus more on present problems to meet the needs of its citizens.

Admittedly, although the governments have to solve the immediate problems at first, attention should also be paid to the anticipated problems of the future. Development of today should not be based on sacrifice of the future generation. The environment problem is the most obvious one. Although laws are enacted to regulate pollution from companies, in order to pursue a high development of the economy, these laws are not strictly executed, which will definitly result in  enviroment pollution damaging the life of future generations. The Chinese government offers one method to solve this problem- "sustainable development", that is to say development of today should  be set up on the consideration of  future generation.

In all, government should focus more on immediate problems but they should also take the future problems into consideration. Maybe the measure of sustainable development is one way to solve this dilemma

Also, take the problem of peasant’s income in my country as an example. Our government implemented systematical policies to make sure that the peasant could sustain a basic live standard, 去掉these policies including decreasing the tax of farming, increasing to avoid repetition, ->raising the price of farm products and so on. Although education of peasants 太别扭了,还是改成education in rural areas is also a problem that in the future will influence the whole development of our country, the government has to put it in the second place lower priority considering the urgence of the peasant's living problem . From these we can see that for governments the question is generally not should but must 不太通吧 to solve the immediate problems.
In my humble opnion: do not cite evidence in out native country, more universal examples such as "unemployment" "social security"might easily arouses foreign readers' empathy

Solving the immediate problems is also a test of governments’ ability, so it is vital in earning for winning the support of their people. Although laws are enacted to regulate pollution from companies, in order to pursue a high development of the economy, these laws are not strictly executed, which will definitly result in enviroment pollution damaging the life of future generations. 。 one method to solve this problem- "sustainable development", that is to say development of today should be set up on the consideration of future generation.

In all, government should focus more on immediate problems but they should also take the future problems into consideration. Maybe the measure of sustainable development is one way to solve this dilemma

The immediate problems are so urgent that [they] call for prompt solving.
Our government implemented systematical policies to make sure that the peasant could sustain a basic l [living] standard, . [把这句话变成插入语插到第一个policies的后面] Although education of peasants is also a problem that in the future will influence the whole development of our country, the government has to put it in the second place considering the urgence of the peasant's living problem . From these we can see that for governments the question [什么question] is generally [not should but must] [这不叫英语呀,not simply necessary but imperative to ]  solve the immediate problems.
Admittedly, although the governments have to solve the immediate problems at first, [为什么要用被动呢] Development of today should not be based [at the cost of 更长用些吧] the future generation.
