关于cornell申请多个项目的疑问

cornell的系统里只允许提交一个项目的申请，关于第二志愿是这样说的：
You may only submit one application for a given term; multiple applications will not be processed. If you are not admitted to your first-choice degree program, do you want to be considered for admission to another field of study or degree program? If so, select your second-choice program from the list below. Your application will not be automatically transferred. If you are rejected by your first-choice program, contact gradadmissions@cornell.edu to learn if your application can be transferred. Depending on the program, you may also need to submit additional supplemental materials.

楼主想申请aem和cipa，可能想先申请aem，不知道如果aem没录的话是否还有机会申请cipa。想问下有没有类似经验的朋友呢？
