now i found i still have hard time watching english movie without script, so i wanna further practise my listening ability,is this course a good choice?
ive tried some scenes of the course, i can catch on most,i know what they are talking about ,but i still fail to hear every word or every detail... how can i do in this case? how to further improve?

It's good, especially for listening comprehension. Actually you don't necessarily have to understand every single word in their dialogue, just get their points and make sure of the understanding to most of it. I'm sure you gonna benifit a lot from these series of material.

I don't know if you'd prefer the video or the tape. But to be frank, I like "Tuning in the u.s.a" more than the video version of family album u.s.a, and I never tried its tapes.

I guess you mean its a better way to use tape other than video,right? But frankly I prefer video version cause its much vivider.

I watched some of the video on TV when I was a junior student.It was really difficult for me at that time.But now ,I can also understand most of what they were saying although not every word of their dialogue .
