A new Ph.D. position (2022-2023) is available immediately in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The research will involve machine learning applications, medical image processing, and preventative cardiology.  
Qualifications:
•        a Bachelor's or equivalent degree in engineering (Computer, Mechanical, Biomedical, and Aerospace), applied mathematics, or related fields. Applicants with a master's degree are preferred.
•        Previous research experience is highly desirable. Desirable research skills include machine learning and programming (C, C++, or Python).
•        Strong oral and written communication skills.
