Education is significant for human in that it can pass the knowledge form generation to generation. Everyone knows this, but here there is another problem related with it, that is how to teach the students, whether to satisfy the demands of society or meet students’ needs and interests. As far as I concerned, we should design the education to meet every student’s interests and make full use of them, at the same time, we can not omit the basic knowledge and morality, which are also crucial to everyone.

Firstly, the purpose of education is to elicit the inner things from students, not to insert knowledge into them. At this sense, we must find everyone's merits and design classes to  content their needs, then exploit their strong points as much as possible. On the contrary, if we force people to learn things which are not suitable for them at all, it is sure that they can not do much contribution to the society. Assuming that, we compel a man who does not have a little music genius to learn music, it is sure that he can not learn much and do little contribution to the society.

Besides, interest is the best motivity to our study. It can encourage us to work hard and get more enthusiasm. Lots of famous people's success is partly attributed to their interests. Edison loved doing experiments when he was very young, it is the interest that heartens him to overcome every difficult and setback. If he dislikes invention at all and somebody like his parents or teachers force him to do so, he must be unwilling to do this and we can not see many very useful inventions such as bulb, which are significant to our daily life.

However, when we attach primary importance to interests, we can not ignore the education of fundament, which is indispensable for everyone. Take famous physicist Einstein as an example, at the beginning of his research on the theory of relative, he believed that his basic knowledge is sufficient to fulfill his study. To his surprise, as the research went on, he found that his basic knowledge, especially mathematics is far from his needs, so he had to stop his research and studied it. After that, he could continue his research. Famous scientists need this, let alone us.

Meanwhile, we can not omit the education of morality. Morality is somewhat more important than any other things. A fool is much better than a base genius, a fool can not do much contribution, at least he can not do harm to the society. If we pay too much attention on the cultivation of interests and ignore the education of morality, we might educate some base people, who may do harm for our society, even threaten survivorship of the whole human being. Some terrorists may be lack the morality education when they are young.

To sum up, when we realize the importance of interest on the process of education, we should also wary of the detriment caused by the too much emphasis on and the neglect of the other important factors. We must accomplish the balance of the both.
