Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.

Nowadays an ongoing reform has drawn most people's attention that education should take more actions to satisfy individual's need rather than to hold the students as a whole. Many people support it as an effective way to improve the quality of education, while others think that it is unnecessary to do so. As far as i am concerned, student-centered education would be effective to help students learn.

in the first place, the present education system tends to ignore the needs of individuals and interests of each student. Our current education system is teacher-centered education, which pay most attention to the students as a whole, admittedly, it indeed has some advantages, for example, this education system provide similar courses and procedure, which is easier to evaluate. But its shortcomings are also conspicuous, since this system is unable to keep enough aware of the condition of every student, it can not know what the students need and where the interests of students lie in, so the curricula it provides are certainly  unable to satisfy the students. If the students are not interested in study, how could them have a good performance? Furthermore, teachers and schools tend to offer courses that they consider important, which in fact may be out of date already, then students can learn nothing, if exist, little from the courses useful for them to apply today, so it will be a terrible fact that their students cannot keep pace with the development of society and finally drop behind. So simply put, it is necessary for us to have a changing on the present education.

Second but with equal importance, student-centered education can work effectively to motivate students to study and perform well. As early as the period Chunqiu the great thinker and educationalist Confucius had presented the argument that teaching different students should use different methods, depending on their particular conditions. Students have different interests, for example, one may like mathematics, while another would prefer humanities such as poem or essay, offer them what they like respectively would significantly cultivate their interests and encourage them to perform better. Take Mozart for example, we all know that Mozart was much interested in music and showed great talent on mucial field, just imagine that if he was cultivated for his other abilities, such as computing ability, what would he become to? Could he still contribute so much to the world? Probably not.

Admittedly, we should avoid going to another extreme, that is accept whatever students ask without  any conditions. We should design the curricula prudently, taking into consideraiton as much aspects as we can, in order to provide courses with high quality to help students fully develop.

仔细看了一下,小错误不出,条理也挺清楚
但是两个论点是不是有点类似点

先说传统的有好处-易评价,但学生可能没兴趣;
再议如此可激发学生兴趣
而且令结尾有仓促之感

觉得可以把传统的好处分段说,比说公平;也学生提供基础能力;学生兴趣一般很难把握
再分析好处:如你说的激发兴趣;因材施教等等

当然啦,45分钟写得很好了,比上次有进步,i suppose
