“Anyone can make things bigger and more complex. What requires real effort and courage is to move in the opposite direction---in other words, to make things as simple as possible.”
In the era of social culture and technology developing rapidly, our society is full of kinds of new and complex inventions. All of these are the result of the extremely cumulative efforts of our scientists,socilists and others. Nevertheless, our daily lives do not become more simpler and orderly, but more complex instead.Yet, humans seem naturally driven to make things bigger and more complex. Consequently, I strongly agree with the speaker,what requires real effort and courage is to make things as simple as possible, as discussed below.

The speaker’s assertion brings us to considering more and more complex situations in human society such as the profession of insurance.With the economic development,a lot of people begin to pay attention to insurance,and as a result,insurance is recognized and accepted gradually by most of people.However, so many rules and clauses about insurance  needed to study that we can not use it conveniently even difficult to get compensation after some accidents. Even some knowledgeable college students and professional underwritings admit that they cannot understand those rules and clauses clearly at all. Admittedly, this situation impede the development of insurance gravely. Yet, therein lies the statement’s credibility.More effort and courage are required to make insurance serve people better.

Lending even more credence to the assertion is that most people make effort to complicate their lives without realizing it. I have to admit that technology itself is the culprit behind the complexity. Now,cars taking the place of bicycles leads to people must try their best to wrok hard in order to afford a new car; When computers become an importtant part of our daily life, it demands our time and attention in order to learn how to operate it. Nowadays, more and more drastic competiton impel our children to learn plenty of things besides academic subjects such as singing, dancing, painting, and so forth. Time devoted to keeping pace with technology and our daily life become more and more complex even plenty of grave pressure. Obviously, everyone can make things bigger and complex, in contrast, what we really want is to establish a simple plan for the use of our time and money.

Adding further creidibility to the statement is about the relationship between people in the modern world. Everybody want to be the best one, competiton leads to development as well as more complex relationship.Spending too much time on dealing with relationship,we cannot devote ourselves to our work. In my view, a real successor is the one who can simplify such complex things, and only this requires real effort and courage.

In sum, people always make things bigger and more complex not only in the field of technology but also in society and our daily life.,it arguably requires more effort and couragr to move in the opposite direction.
