Students should bring a certain skepticism to whatever they study. They should question what they are taught instead of accepting it passively.

Should Students bring a certain skepticism to whatever they study and question what they are taught? In my opinion, skepticism is the motivation to improve everything, not only because the experience of formers is possibly wrong, but also social situation is changing every day. For us students, accepting knowledge without questioning is even worse than never learning.

Some people may argue that knowledge, which is established by formers years ago and studied by us today, has sustained a lot of skepticism already and has been refined. The point is, they may want to express, the knowledge is not likely to have serious mistakes. However, I will argue that much knowledge is not examined by formers, because they have no abilities to examine for lack of fundamental knowledge or limitation of social backgrounds. Aristotle, one of the best philosophers in the world, believes that higher-weighed things will drop more quickly than lower-weighed ones do. This theory has been thought to be right and taught to students all over the world. However, after Galileo's experiment on Pizza lean tower, people noticed that Aristotle have made a serious mistake, which has not been corrected throughout thousands of years. Throughout this historical period, why haven't people living all over the world find Aristotle's mistake? I think, this is because some of them had no sufficient knowledge of physics; some of them adored Aristotle's authority, thus cannot believe their discovery that can prove him to be wrong. So, knowledge that formers left is not always right, it need us to doubt it.

Second, I will point out that some of what we study may be right years ago, in the historical situation. However, situation may have changed today. Franklin Roosevelt, American's 32nd president, once said, "Eternal truths are neither true nor eternal unless they have fresh meanings for new social situation." We can easily find much knowledge which has been outdated in the text book. For example, in our country, Maoism, which is created by our first president, used to be right when our country suffers a battle against Japan. But after that, it is harmful for the development of country's economics. Then Deng Xiaoping theory replaced it, which promotes economical reform and ultimately makes our country develop in a considerable speed.

To sum up, knowledge we study today may be incorrect for two reasons above. Therefore, it is necessary for us student to bring a certain skepticism to them.

Should Students bring a certain skepticism to whatever they study and question what they are taught? In my opinion, skepticism is the motivation to improve everything, not only because the experience of formers is possibly wrong(这句用not only....but also好不好?是递进的意思,但你这儿用了因为,前后好像没有因果的关系哈), but also social situation is changing every day. For us students, accepting knowledge without questioning is even worse than never learning.

Questioning learning material, which motivates insightful thinking, is a crucial step in the process of learning. By raising queries about what are taught, students are able to hone their minds, which is one of the major goals of education. Thus, it is necessary for students to take a skeptic attitude of whatever they study.开头段似乎没有包含B2所提到的社会责任方面，能加上去最好。这样才能起到提纲挈领的作用

Critical thinking, skepticism in education, is a path to intellectual adventure. First, it helps students transfer their learning stuff into meaningful knowledge in their minds. They can understand the relationship among what they learn and explore the essence of knowledge through critical thinking. For example, when students start to doubt what they are taught, they have to carefully study every aspect of the information provided by teachers and then find out defects existing in the information. In this process, students, obviously, learn much more than simply accepting what teachers said passively. Secondly, critical thinking can foster creativity of students. The sparks of innovation usually twinkle when people are considering the inaccuracy, incompletion, and errors of what they study. Students can generate their own creative ideas based on their discontents with old ideas teachers teach. It is reported that a young Chinese student invented a more effective computer graphical algorithm than the current fastest method invented a computer graphical algorithm that is more than... 才是正确的比较 because he was not content with the efficiency of the old algorithm and hence he tried to improve it. Students can establish a sense of equity and responsibility by questioning what they are supposed to take for granted. Students discover bias and prejudice after criticizing convictions to certain truth, because the truth in one’s culture is not always true in another cultural context. This is the first step towards communicating with people of other cultures and races. Without bias, students can have a global view, which is significant for the future of human beings. Skepticism also allows students to examine current social system and then students can be responsible to figure out how to solve social problems. For instance, China social revolutions in the early of the twentieth century were primarily motivated by students and finally led to a new China in which people enjoyed much better life than before. In a word, skepticism inculcates students with citizenship.

Admittedly, students should be skeptical about everything they learn. It is very dangerous for students to doubt the validity of moral standards. “Values clarification” movements have proved that the danger. In addition, some disciplines, such as mathematics, need not such skepticism. “Thinking without learning means nothing”, as Confucius put it.这一段完全没有展开，而且中心也不是非常统一，各句之间显得非常松散。我觉得还不如不要

In sum, students should question what they are taught instead of accepting it without any doubts. Because critical thinking gives them intellect and skepticism brings a mind equipped with fairness and obligation, they can benefit from real learning instead.
