It takes a long time for a culture to be generated and formed, and different countries have different cultures. In order to maintain the typical and unique character of a country, the government must ensure that the places where culture are mainly embody should receive the financial support so that they can survivalsurvive and thrive. And in my point of view, not only the major cities there should beno be, I think receive the support but also the rural areas should be considered.
The culture can be embodied not only in the art, architecture, customscustom作为风俗讲应该是不用加上s的, rituals and ceremonies, and so these visional styles, but 这里是不是应该用个inthe invisible styles such as people's attitude, spirits. These various kinds of expressions can be handed down from one generation to another, from primary times to modern times, from rural areas to metropolitanmetropolis, but感觉这里没必要用转折连词吧,and 应该好些 apparently the major cities can reflect the contemporary culture well. This can be illustrated from the city of Florence of Renaissance. In that time, many great artists and aesthetics flooded to the major citythe major city是什么意思?, completing是不是competing for the fame and status, thus marvelous works were left to us, typical of that timethat time 应该放在ideas 的后面 people's attitudes and ideas. Therefore, it is vital or necessary for a government to impose great money to preserve the culture and better cater to its country's development.
Unlike some investment such as buying lottery can have an immediate and sometimes great profits, such financial support on the preservation of culture may not have obvious feedback. For instance, when government invest some money to protect an old building that can identityidentify its country well, it won't see much benefits to its people except that some tourism may thrive. In some worse cases, when the old building is impeding the modern development, then感觉没有then更顺一些 some compromise must be made so as to preserve the culture.
Anyway, some rural areas must also take intobe taken into account when the government makes budget, especially in today's globalization. More and more cities have gotten so homogeneous that has already threatened some culture to disappear, and these changes have no incline to cease along with the urbanization. Nevertheless, the culture in small cities and rural areas, though the density人口密度么? is very small, their cultural traditions are as important as thesethose in the larger cities ,and thus still need the government to lay some money to help their culture preservation. Compared to the large cities, the amountof money small cities neededneed is much fewer.
As what I discussed above, it is necessary and essential for a government to locate financial support to both the major cities and the small cities or rural areas to better preserve the cultural traditions that a country uniquely hasthat uniquely stands for a country. |
