The study of an academic discipline alters the way we perceive the world. After studying the discipline, we see the same world as before, but with different eyes.

With the increasing development of technology and knowledge, people's cognition of the world is varying too. Especially a study of an academic discipline alters the way we perceive the world in some sense. However, that does not mean all the thing in the world would differ from what we saw before.

It must be admitted that we can gain some new method and measure for studying and cognition after we study an academic discipline, thus we may get some meanings or view when we see the same world or case. For example, after we in China study English deeply, we gain a new comprehension of language. Through the comparison between Chinese language and English language we could realize some flaws of our Chinese language such as the custom of implication in language, complicated in expression, or which we cannot be conscious before we study English. Deep down, when a scientist study an academic discipline, they may find new method to interpret our world. As we know, Einstein published a famous theory---theory of relativity, in which the world is interpreted in four dimensions, but not three dimensions as we originally thought. Maybe his new notion cannot be accepted soon, but he indeed provide a new vision for all of the world.

Further more, besides that the study of an academic may furnish a new method or measure to understand the world, it also can alter the way we perceive the old cases, in which we have ever hold a clear attitude. In the past centuries, most of average people as well as naturists in the world are pleased to see a thriving world, a industrialized world. However, environmentalists through study of discipline of the change of environment, they alter their way when they perceive the industrialization and modernization. The chief reason why they altered their attitudes is because they see the same case with more comprehensive eyes; they see the immense loss of environment following with the increasing energy expenditure and polluted water flowing out of factories.


However, we have to realize that after the study of an academic discipline alters the way we perceive the world does not mean that  all the things in our eyes will change its original performance. We can say that after we study mathematics, letters in our eyes become figures; after we study art, a piece of simple and white paper in our eyes become beautiful pictures; after we study cytology, a person in our eyes become a pile of cells. All of that seems ridiculous in that a new study cannot alter all the ways we perceive the world.

To sum up, new studies always bring about new measures and new view, which makes us be able to perceive one problem with more visual angles. Moreover, because of continuous new study and new measures, our world has been marching on its way.
