The following appeared in a newspaper article about law firms in the city of Megalopolis.
'In Megalopolis, the number of law school graduates who went to work for large, corporate firms declined by 15 percent over the last three years, whereas an increasing number of graduates took jobs at small, general practice firms. Even though large firms usually offer much higher salaries, law school graduates are choosing to work for the smaller firms most likely because they experience greater job satisfaction at smaller firms. In a survey of first-year students at a leading law school, most agreed with the statement that earning a high salary was less important to them than job satisfaction. This finding suggests that the large, corporate firms of Megalopolis will need to offer graduates more benefits and incentives and reduce the number of hours they must work.'

Presently,we may hear people complaint that this time and world we now live is terrible and awful.It is  natural to argue that ,but it would be absurd to claim that we may feel better if we live in another time. Numerous reasons are available and the following ones I stated may be the majorities.
It is ture that this world is filled with wars,hungers,diseases bawdy information just because of the government's unwise controlment and the media's advertimement. It is also true that various terrible environmental conditions today are caused by the modern technology we developed such as the manufacture of nuclear weapon.Even ethical will be changllenged just because of the  clone technology .But one coin has two side,consider once there is no nuclear ,the electricity power will not be supported successfully by our human people.The extent to which we generate electricity may be troublesome.Meanwhile,if the clone technology is not developed,since then,oppotunities will not be exist to support people to transfer their clone organ to the injured ones.
Anyway,once we go back to the old times,no matter the far ancient world or the modern world,people may feel so inconvenient that they may live in a world lack of heating machine or air conditioner,which may dramatically effected their working efficiency .People may go out by horse-drawn and the communication system may be backforward which may drag off countless important business or message sending.Nothing is more significant than efficiency,which may fundenmentally decide people's living quanlity,their income and so on.What is also worth noticing is that the education system and the status of women and children in the past is not so much ideal as today is.People won't accept enough education,they could't realize their dreams and should live a hard life ,women will always take responsibility of childbearing and do housework day by day.
Moreover,although people in the past won't be poisoned by the terriblesome media,TV,and movie,they will also be apart from the instant information such as the war,the election of presidents ,the international situation and so on.The movie,sports and military fans will not promptly accept the news from all over the world.
President Franklin Roosevelt once said:"The world can be changed by man's endeavor,and that this endeavor can lead to something new and better.NO man can sever the bonds that unite him to his society simply by averting his eyes.He must ever be receptive and sensitive to the news,and have sufficient courage and skill to face novel facts and to deal with them."As stated above,we may draw conclusion thatit is not so easy to solve all the problems just due to human people's personal confinement and the government's ability ,we should appreciate the chance living today and endeavor to accomplish their dreams and improve this terrible better and better ,instead of just complainting this world any more.
