To begin with, scandals maybe useful in some areas ，which concern the people's interests, such as politics, academia, and so forth. In other words, during these areas, people can not get the truth immediately, but scandals could do. Here is a good illustration that could appropriately and fittingly prop up this explanation. On account of the Watergate Affair, numerous people of America lost heart to t he government and the governors, especially Present of Nixon. It is well known that it is two reporters of Washington Post that who reported the news to the whole people. The scandal made Present of Nixon lose the supporting of Congress of the Unite d States and the Americans, and was forced to bow out. This illustrates the point that scandals usually focus the point which individuals pay respect to tremendously and could reveal the fact immediately.

Furthermore, as mentioned above, scandals sometimes reveal the facts which make individuals be familiarized with the real truth of the matter. To demonstrate this point plainly and undoubtedly, here is an example that is very persuasive and believable. Tyson is a well known boxing player, not only for his heavy punch, but also for his public scandals. Take the biting his opponent's ear as an example. It does not matter that Tyson lost that scene of boxing, but what audiences can not accept is that he bit the ear of his opponent twice. Due to the scandal, Tyson lost the good image to people. Providing that no reporters reported this sandal, considerable people could not get the news and maybe esteem Tyson as a good man and a good boxing player. It is the sandal that makes the populace know the truth. Scandals reveal the real truth of the matter and provide useful information to populace.

Admittedly, although sandals can make people know facts, they have several adverse aspects. For example, what the sandal reports may not be truth all the time. Why there are tremendous scandals appear everyday? It is the interest. Due to sandals, some magazines, newspapers, books, or even news may be popular at once, because lots of people pay their attentions on the scandal.
