------题目------
In the age of television, reading books is not as important as it once was. People can learn as much by watching television as they can by reading books.
------正文------
Due to the prevalence of TV to ordinary families, many people tend to think that they can learn as much knowledge by watching television as they can by reading books. Personally, I strongly disagree with this assertion since reading books is still a primary way to absorb knowledge and it has many disadvantages over TV.

To begin with, reading books is more efficient and more systematically in the process of gaining knowledge than is TV. On the one hand, since the purpose of the television is to profit, they has to cater the average need of the majority of people and thus these TV programs may be too easy and superfical to fit for some talented persons. That is to say, tv programs is not proper enough due to their popular attribution and not efficient. But things could be different when we refer to books. People can learn in their distinct speed and way according to their level of understanding and absorbing knowledge and would not be limited by any restriction as may provided by TV programs. On the other hand, it is impossible and dispensable for TV programs to include all the contents and specifics because of the enormous cost which is undoubtedly cost-efficient. Therefore, watching TV programs can not serves as the primarily way for someone who wants to make a systematical understanding of some kind of knowledge. But if we read books, we can get a full-scale comprehension of the knowledge through carefully perusing every necessary and imperative detail in the book. In other words, books is a better approach if we desire to learn something systmatically and comprehensively.

Furthermore, reading books is also more beneficial to us than TV when we refer to some kind of science such as philosophy, physics, mathematic and so forth. Take physics for example. What the TV programs convey is just some introduction and ostensible knowledge in that field, and they are undoubtedly not appropriate for further study. We can not learn quantum theory and the theory of relativity from TV while we can learn step by step through professional guidance books in the professional field of science.

What is more, books is a good way to review easily what we have learn and thus can solidify our knowledge system. From another point of view, it is impossible for us to review through TV unless it rebroadcast.

To sum up, though TV has some effect to for guidance, books is still a primarily way to attain knowledge since they have provided many unsurpassable advantages over TV and from books people can learn more than does TV.

To begin with, reading books is more efficient and more systematically in the process of gaining knowledge than is 可以不用这个is TV. On the one hand, since the purpose of the television is to profit, they 这个they指代不明,可用TV stations has have to cater the average need of the majority of people and thus these TV programs may be too easy and superfical superficial to fit for some talented persons. That is to say 可以不用to say, tv大写 programs is not proper enough due to their popular attribution and not efficient. But things could be different when we refer to books. People can learn in一般用at speed their distinct speed and way according to their level of understanding and absorbing knowledge and would not be limited by any restriction as may be provided by TV programs. On the other hand, it is impossible and dispensable for TV programs to include all the contents and specifics because of the enormous cost which is undoubtedly cost-efficient. Furthermore, reading books is also more beneficial to us than TV when we refer to some kind of science such as philosophy, physics, mathematic and so forth. Take physics for example. What the TV programs convey is just some introduction and ostensible这个词不太好,这个表面带有表里不一、虚假的意思 knowledge in that field, and they are undoubtedly not appropriate for further study. We can not learn quantum theory and the theory of relativity from TV while we can learn step by step through professional guidance books in the professional field of science.

What is more, books is a good way to review easily what we have learn and thus can solidify our knowledge system. From another point of view, it is impossible for us to review through TV unless it rebroadcast.这一段略显单薄

To sum up, though TV has some effect to for guidance这一点前文并没有提道啊, books is still a primarily way to attain knowledge since they have provided many unsurpassable advantages over TV and from books people can learn more than does 改为from TV.
