All nations should help support the development of a global university designed to engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems.

Global village, a fashion term to describe the complex relationship among all the countries in this world, is already accepted by more and more people. However, it is followed by such a puzzling question that whether all nations should support the development of a global university aiming at solving the world's social problems. Some people would like to say it is useless for the government to support global university because of its huge cost. But as far as I am concerned, it is utterly necessary and important for any country to develop its global university for solving whole human being's urgent social problems.

The global university could help us deal with world's persistent social problems rationally to push all the nations, no matter involved nor not involved in those problems, forward directly and indirectly. Global social problems, especially those persistent ones, are problems of all the people. Because all human beings live in such the same planet--earth, that we more or less have a link with each other.  Among various countries in this world, for the sake of their own development, people have to communicate with each other in the fields of economy, culture, politics, etc. World's social problems will slow down, or even prevent this promising trend. With a broad perspective of students in global university, we can remove those obstacles in a insightful and nonviolent way. With the global university, there may be no horrible wars in Iraq; With the global university, we would never suffer from Ben Laden; With the global university, unfairness could be eliminate to some extent. Global university can bring a peaceful and fair environment
for us to survive, to make progress, even to have a beautiful promising future.

Moreover, global university, through encouraging students researching the world's social problem, could help each county broad its perspective and learn advanced experience from other nations. When students in global university do their best to solve the world's social problems, they can not avoid considering the nations' culture, economy , political systems, etc. To some extent, they enhance the communication between these countries, which results in deeper recognition of other nations. As this process going on, people will gradually lend others' advanced development to put their own nation forward. One needs to look no further than China for an example. China, a socialism country, stands oppositely against USA. Because of the difference between their political systems and believes, they used to turn back to each other. Fortunately, China gradually learned that it was not wise to be against to USA. After solving their social differences nonviolently, China introduced the market-economy system from USA to enhance its own economy. And, now, China is still developing at amazing rate, which gives the whole world a brilliant shock. If there is a global university, with its service of enhancing communication, maybe we will have a lot of "China" in this world.

In sum, global university with its function to solve the whole world's social problems,
especially those most persistent ones, can  develop every nation, can contribute a lot to this planet, can bring a bigger promising surprise to us in the future. All of above-mentioned result in one conclusion---global university should be well supported by all nations.

总体觉得文章的立意比较一般，一边倒的说好，这样不容易展开写显得观点比较客观全面。而且两段所据事例也不能很好的证明观点。个人愚见
