Everyday the world around us is changing fast. Countless things happened, and still another great amount of things are waiting for us to understand them. However, many of us lost themselves in the ocean of events, making them bigger and more complicated and thus keep themselves from knowing the truth. But fortunately enough, most of us have realized that by means of making things into small pieces until we can fully appreciate each that we are moving towards the truth.

Anyone can make things bigger and more complicated. And many do so as facing problems. This is because that they are confronting something unfamiliar, and do not know how to tackle them even they are totally new things. People even feel that in order to understand the events before them, extra knowledge which they know nothing of is needed. Thus when the original one is a small snowball can be held in one's hand, eventually people are making it a much bigger one which need several men to push it. "How can I figure out this program regarded as a simple one when I know little about the language?" someone may say so, but unfortunately, he ignore the word "simple". That's why others can solve the problem: make it simple.

There's no doubt that when facing smaller and simpler things, we tend to feel that we have strong confidence to understand them and if there are some problems waiting to be solved, we can handle them well. While we can solve the problem that asks us what is the result of adding from one to ten with easy and give the correct answer in less than a minute, we may probably feel annoyed facing the problem that asking us to construct a mathematical mold to figure out what is the proper quantity of nuclear weapons should be maintained between two countries in order to keep the ability to respond actively when attacked, where there is only verbal description and not a single number provided, and after maybe several hours we still have no idea. We tend to have more ability to understand and solve relatively simple problems since we start our learning process from the very simple ones, the ten digits in the math field. But when facing bigger ones, while we hail at its spectacular appearance, we forget that we can divide them into smaller ones at which we can solve with easy. And that's the real effort and courage required, to make things as simple as possible.

It is no doubt the right way. There is a famous thought in the field of computer programming: divide and conquer. The core of which is that when facing big problems, dividing them into smaller pieces at which there are already some best programs and algorithms can solve them well, and then incorporate these pieces again into a whole and resulting in the final solution. This thought has been prevailed since the birth of computer programming, and can be applied throughout other fields as well. Take the mathematical molding problem mentioned above again as a example. We may solve the problem establishing two variants which are interrelated and further construct a curve in the rectangular coordinate system, and then we can discuss the various forms of this curve and may find the correct answer to this problem. When doing so, we may not feel any difficulty in the way. This is because that each of the phases we step toward the solution is something simple and familiar with us thus we can handle them well. It is the way.

The earth is still turning around, and tens of thousands events are taking place. This is something that will never change. What should be changed is the attitude held by people towards this. While people are likely to make things bigger and more complex before, a thought that to make things as simple as possible should be cultivated in our minds.

最近写了两篇都严重超时,而且都是机经题,看来ETS还是不肯定轻易放过我们啊。

But when facing bigger ones, while we hail at its spectacular appearance, we forget that we can divide them into smaller ones at which we can solve with easy.这句分析不错 And that's the real effort and courage required, to make things as simple as possible.终于看明白了,呼呼。8过还是觉得前面半截有些问题,说的比较晦涩(也许是我的问题),感觉到后面才切题。题目说我们需要把问题简单化的能力,我觉得要论证的是,我们缺少这个能力,或者这个能力有虾米作用,需要什么effort,为虾米我们需要把问题简单化,简单化了对解决问题有什么好处,之类的东西。你这段到后面才说,一遇到复杂问题我们就忘了把他们拆成片来分析,这个很好,建议再好好分析下,展开点。

It is the way.我哭了…这一堆数学建模还是计算机的东西看的晕死我了。回到题目上来说,still没看出来require的东西是什么。

我不知道该说虾米了,我觉得这个题目很难,就像是个废话,无法展开(估计鬼鬼听见要抽我了)。写成1+1好写,先说人人都可能把事情复杂化,然后举例一堆,说明现象,理论上没啥好论的-_-! 然后说把事情简单化的很需要real effort,然后重点论证这个能力的重要性,为啥很需要。虽然我也不知道怎么论。真抱歉改了半天,也没说出来点啥,一会我告诉鬼鬼过来帮忙把

觉得你的思路好像也有点混乱。是是,因为看了题目想到把事情变得简单和计算机编程里那个思想(就是我文章里写的)满像的,可能还是有点好写的。哪知道一写,词汇干涩不说,整篇文章都不太连贯的下来。

PS:头像里是本人吗?

刚想了下这个题
初步写了个小破提纲 来 讨论下

观点:同意
A:人们都可能把事情搞复杂。(没有理论论据,因为觉得是废话-_-!,准备举例,列举,不知道该举什么好,再汗)
B:把事情弄简单才需要本事。就是解决问题的能力。首先需要有一定的知识量和分析和推理的能力。这些来源于日积月累
C:还需要灵活多变,懂得利用周围的条件的能力。这些要靠脑筋转的快。
所以说把问题简单化的需要真本事

1、however…but fortunately这转来转去,有些晕噢。觉得开头有些不够清晰耶。恩恩,当时写的时候卡在那里,想不出什么好点的句子,又不想restate,所以就硬掰了几句。

2、这段给我的感觉很奇特,语句上有些不通和不连贯的,影响到表达,而且对于make things big的原因貌似解释的不太清晰。麻烦解释下,我也迷糊中。其实整篇文章我都觉得语言晦涩的要命,一个原因是实在不太写的出东西,像挤牙膏似的;另一个当然就是水平问题了啊。这段我想说的是人们在碰到复杂的尤其是那些他们不曾遇到过的问题的时候,心里面很容易产生一种恐惧感,以为很麻烦,超出了他们的能力,而忘了实际上只要把问题细化,是很有可能轻易的把问题解决的。我是想写make things bigger因为心理上的原因,但是心理学没学过……

4、我哭了…这一堆数学建模还是计算机的东西看的晕死我了。我自己写的时候也受不了了,因为是硬塞进去的(貌似还搞了点前后照应……),sigh~~

谢谢吱吱啊,用不着道歉啊,我写成这样一定是好费你的眼睛了。(眼睛发炎好了没?)我写的时候脑子里大致的段落应该是这样的:人们总是将问题复杂化,而忘了简单化能解决问题->证明简单化的时候我们做的很好->所以要运用这个思想。但是写起来可能就乱套了。吱吱有空的话再讨论讨论吧。

刚刚写完看到你又发上来了~~
把对题目的理解来讨论下吧。因为我觉得题目虽然说的是require,但是require的不一定是能力啊,也有可能是态度啊。不过这样大概难写。

require的是real effort 就是真正的努力和本事
态度也是一方面  不错 可以补充我的小破提纲

你的意思就是说人们很容易就弄复杂化,而简单化,虽然字面上很简单,但是实际上需要各方面的能力,就是所require的,你是这样破题的吧?
