先做准备工作：
检索并记录4所目标院校的PS要求。A校： two to three pages; the applicant’s experience in legal practice, and interest in graduate study (in the applicable specialization);  the applicant’s professional goals, and how the completion of an LLM degree could benefit his or her legal career.
B校：legal interests, the particular area of study, the reasons you wish to study at our school, and your professional plans or goals following the completion of your degree; describe aspects of yourself that are not apparent from your other application materials; limited to three pages of double-spaced text.
C校：1,500 words; why you wish to pursue an LL.M. degree at our school and how doing so connects with what you have done in the past and what you plan to do in the future.
D校：describe your background, academic interests, the program of study you wish to follow, and your reasons for pursuing that program.

Formatting requirements:

Double-spaced

12-point font

Standard 1-inch margins

No more than three pages

好久没上来了，收个尾吧，最后提交的PS和当初写的可以说是毫不相关。写完初稿后给三个朋友看了，每一位都提出了或犀利或温和的建设性意见（感谢我可爱的朋友们），在痛苦地改了几轮后，终于收工啦。

不好意思今天才看到消息，我看的是55 Successful Harvard Law School Application Essays. 我同学给我的，这里面都是JD的申请文书， 看个8-10篇有个感觉就行，不能多看，因为JD和LLM写的内容还是很不一样的。
