What is the truly education for individuals as well as for society? Although interests could ignite one's enthusiasm and power to pursuing what he or she like, which seems the only and best way to achieve the effectiveness of education. Considering the various perspectives of different levels of students of the current society, I fundamentally disagree with the speaker's assert.

To begin with, one has to understand the essential goal of education for both himself / herself and the society before draw the conclusion. To young students, the final purpose of education is eliciting and inciting their minds, rather than merely being inserted knowledge. To the society, the ultimate goal of education is to propel the society and make it more convenient, comfortable and adaptable for the humanity. In order to achieve these goals, the young students as well as the educators have to discover and unveil their talents and genius, as well as build up their interests to devote one wholeheartly to perform specific academy or social work after graduation.

On one hand, to primary and secondary education, in which children and young teenagers take up the major part of the body been taught, systematical education rather than individual education will do more benefit. Firstly, for little children in primary schools, truly interests of them have not formed or can't last long and without any purpose of plan. In this case, systematical education, such as courses that arm at improve children's basis reading and writing skills should be taken. Meantime, parents and educators should also help them recover and build up their inclination. Secondly, in secondary schools where teenagers are engaged to accept more formal education, science course and even social courses is indispensable. For the young teenagers, who begin to form their immature value and attitude toward the ambient world, general education is more essential to prevent them from being various temptations in the modern and complex world.
Science courses such as mathematic and physics will construct the rudimentary base for future study and research. Social training will enhance their capability of be independent and interdependent with their teams. What is more, formal education can facilitate teenagers to improve moral quality and prevent them from mistakes or even guilt, such as additive or pose to message when accessing to the internet, in which over meets there interest may result.

On the other hand, to college students, there is also a need for general education rather than merely meet each young adult's inclination. The purpose of effective education for high-level students is to excel in special area and propel the advancement of academy and the society. However, for the inter-cross of some fields today, only take the courses in the specific field depend on one's interest is insufficient for well mastery of the knowledge. For instance, it is indispensable for a student whose interest in political- science to take other courses such as psychology and anthropology, in which case student might have no interest. But without some other knowledge and information that is relevant to one's interest field, his / her view and perspective may be restricted, which in turn impede the development and effective education.

Admittedly, to meet the needs of each individual's interest appropriately is sometime necessary and desirable. As a philosopher said "Interest is the best teacher", only the interest can hold one's enthusiasm and persistence, and shape one's insightful perspective during pursuing special goal, and the feeling of achievement in turn accumulate one's inclination toward some field, which is accepted as the real interest. Nevertheless, in most cases, true and lasting interest is not inborn and can’t be recognized through one’s own effect. For example, preference of economics or business can't reflect one's real interest in pursuing this field but to earn one's profit and flowing the majority. Therefore, only through fully and systematically education can a young adult discover and find his own interest.

In sum, effective education can't be gained only through designing to meet each one's needs. Besides, educator and institute ought to discover potential genius the young adult that may benefit to propel the development of society and shape their real interest through general education.
