As announced by Plato, it is better be unborn than untaught. In modern society, education receives more and more attention and becomes an important consideration of individuals and the whole country.  However, there is still disagreement on the way to carry out effective education. Some people believe that education should be designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student, while some others think education should be performed to a group as a whole. I strongly agree with the first opinion, because I believe that the effective education should not be a process to distribute the knowledge, but a way to teach the student how to study, and a way to ignite the desire of learning something unknown.

Surely it is much easier to design the education for a group than for individuals. The teacher needs  only  the same books and teach the same thing. The students answer the same questions and remember the unique solutions. Some one argues that such education will save a lot of social resources and make the student to learn discipline well.

However, it is not effective for the education to provide a standard product as the factory does. First, the students are different and should not be treated in the same way. Every people has unique experience and preference; they are not the characterless industrial materials. Secondly, the society provides the different jobs and prefers the people with creativities.  In this way, the education with the same output is far from effective.

More importantly, effective education should not only just a process of distributing the knowledge but also teaching the students how to study and ignite the desire of learning.  Modern society is developing more and more quickly and it is not possible to teach the student everything they should know. In such a world, an effective education should equip the student the ability to learn. Only when the students realize the happiness of studying and have strong desire to learn, their potential ability can be entirely explored. Consider the example of Winston Churchill, who is a poor student when received standard education in the school but later studied effectively by himself and became a great politician and writer at last. When Churchill didn't realize education is for his own interest, the education is far from effective. In great contrast, how successful he did when he wanted to learn the knowledge!

Education makes a people easy to lead, but difficult to drive; easy to govern, but impossible to enslave. Such education is effective because it teach the students not only to know but also to learn the unknown things, because it considers the needs and interests of the students and provide different kinds of persons for the different requirements of the society.

In modern society, education becomes an important concern of both individuals and the whole country, which makes for the differnt ideas to design an education system.  Some people believe that an effecitve education system should be designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student, while some others think education system should
be performed to groups  as a whole. I strongly agree with the first opinion, because  the effective education should not be a process to distribute the knowledge, but a way to teach the student how to study, and a way to ignite the desire of learning something unknown.

Design an education system for groups is just like the production scheme in the factories.  The teachers use only the same books and ask the same question, as the materials-machining process in the factories.
The students answer the same questions and remember the  uniform solutions, who are treated like the nondistinctive materials in the factories.  However, such a system using the production sheme in the facotry is not fit for the purpose of designing an effective education system because the education system is quite different from the factories in two aspects. First, the students are different and should not be treated in the same way. Every people have their unique experience and preference; they are not the characterless industrial materials. Secondly, the society provides the different jobs and prefers the people with creativities. In this way, the education with the same output is far from effective.

The education which can meet the individual needs will encourage the subjectivity of the students and is able to get better teaching results. Consider the example of Winston Churchill, who is a poor student when he received standard education in the school but later studied effectively by himself after school and became a great politician and writer at last. When Churchill didn't realize education is for his own interest, the education is far from effective. In great contrast, how successful he did when he wanted to learn the knowledge begin to learn actively! Modern society is developing more and more quickly and it is not possible to teach the student everything they should know. In such a world, an effective education should equip the students the ability to learn. Only when the students realize the happiness of studying and have strong desire to learn, their potential abilities can be entirely explored.

Effective ducation is a subtle process. An effective education system should not  just distribute the knowledge but also teache the students how to study and ignite the desire of learning. It should shape the students into people with good characters, courage, gracious mind and etc. Such a task must consider the needs and interests of the students instead of rude treatment of the ideals and emotions.

Education makes a people easy to lead, but difficult to drive; easy to govern, but impossible to enslave. Such education is effective because it teachs the students not only  what to know but also how to know,
because it considers the needs and interests of the students and models different kinds of students for the different requirements of the society.

呵呵，偶是菜鸟，也发表点意见吧，总体感觉很不错，要是偶能写出这个水平也就满足了，说一下我觉得不足的地方吧，感觉就是第一段太长了些，自己观点提出的有点拖拉了，然后第二，三段有点短了，论证展开的不够，至于语法，句子的问题，我还不太会挑

However,这个转折我觉得不好。因为你后面说还存在不同意见的地方，这样前面似乎就应该说曾经有的争议的地方已经解决了，然后转折起来就合逻辑些，即使用中文也是这么去想啊，你认为呢？建议修改一下there is still disagreement on the way to carry out effective education. 粗看了一下，感觉整篇文章太单薄了，意思没有作到层层深入，展开不够，基本上说的就是一个意思。你可以开始时尝试一下想象成是在写中文议论文，只不过是翻译成英语而已，每句话前后都要有明确的逻辑联系。而且用词和句式都过与贫乏，加油了！一点拙见，见谅了
