51.Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.

How can education be effective in fact? The speaker asserts that the only way leading to the effectiveness of education is the pertinence. At balance, I fundamentally agree with the statement to the extent that keeping in mind the special characteristics of each student while teaching can noncommittally achieve good result. However, it is neither the “only” method nor the most appropriate way.

It is true that education will be more effective when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. Pertinence means accuracy and efficiency and each of them can provide students high-quality learning experiences. Many facts prove that education might lose its effect in certain cases that teacher or parents treat children, who are significantly dissimilar in intelligence, interests, or loads of other aspects, essentially the same. Many child-geniuses have to leave school when they are very young since the methods and contents used in teaching are not suitable for them at all. And another portion of children, who cannot catch up with most of their classmates in some subjects, may always feel frustrated in school, then gradually lose confidence and interests in learning.

On the other hand, we should also call the feasibility of the method into accounts besides considering its effect only. Almost no two persons in our real life have faces which are exactly alike, even if they are twins, let alone about those internal characteristics involving the business. Thus there should be one hundred way of teaching if there are one hundred students here. Obviously, in our time, the goal is hard to achieve because of the following two reasons: First, there are not enough such individuals who possess both knowledge and teaching skills to satisfy every student’s needs. Second, our society must bear the expenses increased by the sharply risen number of teachers if it do so, and then lead to the condition of ineffectiveness in economy. For these reasons, the speaker’s assertion which emphasizes special needs and interests of “each” student goes to extremes and would waste resources of human and material a lot.

Thus education should give consideration to both the general and the specific character of students, and take into account both effectiveness and feasibility. One of other proper alternatives is to distinguish students into classes based on one’s educational level in each subjects, not the age of them. For instance, if a seven-year student has outstanding reading and writing abilities that obviously surpass his contemporary but is weak in numbers, he can choose to take the nine-year language lecture and math for the six-year which is suitable to himself. And school should sort their students according to reasonable, systematic tests of all subjects which the students have or want to learn. Such method would turn the one-to-one model which the speaker mentioned above to the multiple-to-multiple form then utilize resources more efficiently.

In sum, in order to maintain the effectiveness of education, people cannot neglects the individual characteristics of each students. Besides, feasibility and economy factors should also be taken into accounts.

开头是想表明折中的态度吧,不过最后两句我没看懂

Pertinence means accuracy and efficiency   我到电子版的韦式里去查了pertinence,并没有这个意思啊。如果你想说relevance 意味着accuracy & efficiency好象也说不过去and each of them can provide students high-quality learning experiences. Many facts 什么样的facts, 说具体点 prove that education might lose its effect in certain cases that teacher teachers or parents treat children, who are significantly dissimilar in intelligence, interests, or loads of other aspects, essentially the same. Many child-geniuses have to leave school when they are very young since the methods and contents used in teaching are not suitable for them at all. And another portion of children, who cannot catch up with most of their classmates in some subjects, may always feel frustrated in school, then gradually lose confidence and interests in learning.
从后面来看,TS句要改成education will lose its effectiveness when it fails to meet the individual needs and interests of each student更合适

其实这一段和你的Body1意思上很接近,感觉上又绕回来了
