Secondly, even we can not find precedence, methods and solutions abstracted from history is abundant and important to make decisions. For example, the ruler of Germany regretted of omitting reading the book " military tactic of Sunzi" by chinese ancient tactician, Sunwu before First World War. Although time, location and rivals varied, strategy and tactic remained. Believe it or not, the shameful history may be altered if methods from ancient China were acquired by German before.

Last but not least, the direction of decision making which stem from one's value system and views of life, of human-being and of the whole world. History cultivates one’s mind. After the scrutiny of books by Confucius, the French design company succeed in the bidding of the huge profitable project, China opera, in Beijing. With their French minds washed by Chinese history, they made the final decision of design and execution wisely. On the contrary, the absence of chinese history view resulted in wrongheaded decision by a Canadian firm. No matter how thorough the current situation investigation they made, how intelligent and creative their design was, the western value judging criteria underlying determined their choice fundamentally false.      

Admittedly, history learning is not enough for making decisions today. An understanding of current situation is necessary since there is no same history occur during the long process of human-beings. Different statuses demand specific ways to deal with. Fully resort to history will commit mistakes, which is also taught by history. Economic reform in China after emancipation and foundation of the new nation during 1955 and 1968 encountered the retrogression because of rigid copy of Soviet Union's history experience contradicted china's unique situation.
