130 How children are socialized today determined the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society.

The socialization of children does affect the destiny of society by improving children step by step and developing their ability to communicate with others. We human beings have realized this idea for quite a long period; therefore we have already known how to raise children who can build up our society better.

Through socialization, children begin to adapt themselves to the society, correct those behaviors unaccepted by society and build up their own right concept towards society, thereby affect our society directly because children will sooner or later dominate our society. If a child is always living at home without contact with the society, he will be a spoiled child forever who has no idea about what is acceptable or what is unacceptable outside. Sometimes parents are unable to observe their child's flaws timely because their perspective is quite different from children's; and, moreover, parents are inclined to ignore what their children do wrong as a result of their dote. Then only through contact with society, which is consisted with all kinds of people from a variety of backgrounds, can children recognize themselves clearly and timely, ameliorate their deficiencies to adapt the society. Other's behavior, advices and recommendation, together with their own experiences, will help them to build up their own value about our society as well as themselves. What children's view about our society and what they will do ultimately determine our society in the near future when they grow up to the mainstay.

In addition, interpersonal and communication skill, which is regarded as one of the most important skills in modern society, can only be learnt through socialization. In the era of rapid social and technological change, there is no longer a world full of individualism and all great achievements will be acquired with cooperation. In a team such as a sports team, a research group or a troop or soldiers, you, as a member of such a team, have to understand what others say, what they do and at the same time express your own idea clearly to others on the team's approach to success. If you are lack of such communication skills in a group work, it will be a disaster for you that nobody can understand or accept you even if your working ability is outstanding. So during their growing up, children have to learn how to communicate with each other which is called peers relationship. Once children know how to cooperate with each others, our society is able to get social and technological advance which definitely determines the destiny of society.

Fortunately, in my view, we have already known the effective way to raise children to build up a better society. Our current education system is succeed in educating people who can donate themselves to scientific research, write those master pieces to enjoy our lives and protect our securities  regardless of their own safety. Michael Jordan, a great basketball player not only shows us his outstanding basketball skills, which make us exciting but also personality charming to encourage youngsters to work hard in pursuit of their dreams. Only with the efforts of these people are we able to have a cleaner environment, a healthy, wealthy life and live more safely. These great people are all raised by current education system and socialized by the way we use today.

In sum, how children are socialized today determines what children adapt themselves to society, communicate with others and build up their own value toward the whole society. All these are critical to the destiny of society. In the final analysis, the claim that we have not yet learned how to raise children effectively, which ignores the success achieved by today's human beings, is not convincing.
