Both parents and communities must be involved in the local schools. Education is too important to leave solely to a group of professional educators.

The speaker asserts that both parents and communities must be involved in the local schools due to the importance of education. It might be tempting to agree with the speaker on the basis that a better cooperation among parents, schools, and the society will provide facilities for the education. However, the speaker overlooks certain negative effects that accrue when parents and communities take too much roles instead of the professional educations.

The implicit rationale behind the speaker's statement seems to be that parents and communities also have much influence on the children while they are growing up. This facts is indisputable, after all, a child from a happy family in a friendly society is more likely to obtain a good character than those growing from broken families.  Moreover, a child growing in a learned communities will have more chances to get in touch with the knowledge besides what have been taught in school. Accordingly, I concede that if the community and the parents are able to provide a good circumstance, children will benefit much not only in learning knowledge but also in gaining a good personality.  However, through consider the feasibility and practicality of the suggestion, we might realize that requiring all the parents and communities to involved in the local schools might be out of the ability of some of them. Since some parents and communities are not qualified to the task of professional educators, suggestion that all of them participate the school education will be a plan amounts to fantasy.

In the one place, we should realize that not all the parents are qualified to the task of professional educators. Some parents might not have received good education in their childhood, while others with great knowledge might have no much leisure to involved in the local schools.  And most importantly, most parents do not understand the property of children's learning process. We should know that a good teacher in the college might not be good at the teaching in the primary school. Such a teacher, expecting the child to understand easily what he taught, might probability find that he have great difficulty to taught the children to understand even the simplest theorem.  In such cases,  it is a better choice to leave the education of the children to the specialists, the professional teachers in the local schools.

In the other places, it is not so easy and beneficial for every community to be involved in the local school. The communities, as parts of the society in the real world, own both the positive factors and negative factors including conflicts and disagreement for the growth of the children. Some little child might be mature enough to get in touch with those negative factors. In addition, if the communities pay too much attention to the local schools, they may impose their value to the system of school. Thus is no good for the independence of education and thus might prohibit the growth of the children.

In the final analysis, the education is a complex process. Although I concede that parents and communities should take part in the education of children within their ability, we should not neglect the threaten that might occur if they take too much roles instead of the professional educators.
