yes, Mac is sooo cool for its image processing. I run Maya at my laptop today, it went well until I finally do the rendering. The system was totally down. I love IBM, but still, Apple seems to be a better choice for Maya stuff.

tell you what is the most coooooool stuff, in tiger......the core image software directly build on your GPU....rather than CPU....it means....it skips the process of running CPU...sorting with RAM.... you directly doing stuff on the graphic card....that proudced the real-time effect.....

i persuade my friend to buy a mac machine.....then i paid about 16NZD for a tiger copy....that is the up-to-date program.....if you have to buy on the retail price, that would be about 200NZD.......and plus a mac machine.....which would be between 900NZD(mac mini) and 5000NZD(power mac G5)....hehhehe
