准备2000的签友，好好加油！

背景：本科生，rank30多的学校读eco phd，全奖
6月6号，1000被 Paul Kreutzer拒，（绝对的f1杀手），
因为no working experience & no publication被拒。
6月24号，2000pass，vo是一个男士，有点像中东那边的人，喜欢把笔夹在耳朵上工
作，看起来很严肃但是很耐心,英语有口音，不是太好懂。

过程如下：
me: Nice to meet you, sir.
vo: how are you?
me: Im good, thank you.

vo: ok, lets get to the point.so you are rejected last time?
me: yes.
vo: why?
me: I was too nervous to present myself very well.I am still a little bit
nervous today, but I will try my best to have a relaxed conversation with you

vo: You are going for an eco phd.
me: yes. at xxx univ. I have full financial aid.

vo: I know all this, I know your univ and your financial aid.You were rejected
last time because you didnt explain your major clearly. What specialty  
are you interested in?
me: Macro, specifically economic development and policy analysis. Do you  
want me to explain it to you?
vo: yes.
me: it deals with.... it is about.......（听从师兄的话，用了一些术语）

vo：tell me more.
me: I plan to learn the advanced research methods from US and start my research
career back in China.

vo: You know, in China, there are some very worthy people and they can spend
a million dollars in 拉斯维加斯,there are also so many people hard to afford a living.What is your opinion about the income inequity in China?
me: It is a critical issue in China economy.There are a lot of poor people
here in China especially in countryside. Give the excessive labor supply on agriculture and the low prices of agricultural products in China,it would be impossible for them to increase their earning by themselves. China has to set up an  
efficient pension system for the low-income people.

vo:But the banking system in China has almost collapsed, do you have any  
idea of how to set up a pension system with such a mess of financil market?
me: That's what's fasinating about macroeconomics. The labor mkt, product
mkt, and financial mkt are closely related, you cannot solve the problems in one mkt separately, you have to consider the interactions between these mkts. No problem can be solved alone. I'm going to learn the most advance research methods so that I can be helpful to China's economy when I come back.

vo: go to get your visa.

感想：在根本丝毫心理准备的情况下，1000被拒，压力很大，但今天2000感觉vo是想
给我签证的，上来直接check上次被拒的理由。没有想到他会问我有关中国经济的问题，在那么短的时间内和那么紧张的对话中，要用英文解释好中国贫富差距和金融系统的现状根本不可能，所以都没有正面回答，跟他泛泛的扯了一下。

我能够理解2000的准备要比1000艰难很多，但大家一定要有信心，大体形势是好的，
对于全奖，给vo的答案只要合理，一般都能过。与1000相比，我的研究方向，归国计划都没有变。但准备了很多很多的细节。尽可能的让我所说的东西都有书面材料来证明。对于专业，我觉得好像vo更在乎专业的application。
向vo在短时间内解释清楚确实是一件很难的事情，但你毕竟比vo 更专业，只要你说
的东西没有大的破绽就行。

最主要的是一定要有信心！1000失败，最主要的是被paul的“why not”震住了，没
有强有力的表现自己。他对我的认识就只有“no working experience, no publication”，于是怀疑我的学术能力和出国动机。我后来一直想，根本不可能在这么短的时间内整一篇论文发表来证实我的学术能力，只能在与vo交谈的时候表现得更professional。刚好在1000被拒以后，对方学校的诺贝尔经济学奖得主来我们学校讲座，我向他要了一
封sl，另外对方系主任也给我写了一封（信的内容让我脸红）。这两封信都没有用上
，但在心理上给了我巨大的支持。在排队的时候，我一遍一遍的对自己说，vo没有理由怀疑我的academic background，连nobel laureate都说我牛，你还能说我不牛么？后来在窗口那里排队时，看见vo对前面的背景相当复杂的人面谈的时候都相当耐心，这给了我很积极的心理暗示。而不是像1000时那样，被拉到一个陌生和严厉的paul面前，又是队伍的第一个，一上去便被他的“what are you doing” 给弄蒙了。
这里尤其像给那些被paul拒的人一些信心，各个签证官有自己的风格，下次碰到的绝对没有paul tough！

给我打气！感谢我的GG, 你积极乐观的性格给了我巨大的力量和勇气，你为我付出的太多太多，我知道我们半年以后一定会相遇在大洋彼岸！
