A nation should requeir all its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college rather than allow schools in different parts of the nation to determine which academic courses to offer.

In the era of the development of the modern society, more and more high schools want to define their own curriculum depending the concrete curriculum. It has trigger a new round debate in the modern world because it affects every student who will enter colleges or universities. Some maintain that the lesson in the high school should be required by the nation, some argue that only allowing the schools determine what curriculum could let the students learn by their interests, still some people do not have any idea about it at all. In my opinion, the nation should have the uniform curriculum no matter where the school is located.

At first glance, allowing the school choose the lessons seems reasonable. It cannot be denied that, students could learn the knowledge better if he or she is interested in the lesson. John, a friend of mine, once said, "Just the interest could spur me to learn it well." What is more, without the compulsory, students may have more free time to study the knowledge deeply. As a survey demonstrate, more and more students complain that they have not enough time to do what they want to do.

However, granting the school the power to choose its own curriculum will also make much trouble, for example, the curriculum designed by local schools would make students to be limited in a narrow field too early. Maybe he or she does know what is his or her interest for his or her young age, but he or she must choose the major. What is more, the lesson decided by local schools may not include the basic knowledge, such as computer skill, mathematics, physics and so on. The students would find themselves lack much of the basis when they want to research more deeply in colleges or universities. A college president once said, "What we need is the person who have the general skills and knowledge although he or she should choose his or her own major."

On the contrary, the curriculum determined by nation would avoid the problem. On one hand, the students will not possible meet trouble such as lacking much basic knowledge, so they would find themselves are treated fairly in class. On the other hand, professors would find it easy when showing the college students the knowledge without regarding the problem mentioned above.

Albeit granting every school the power to choose its own curriculums is impossible, some school could also offer some un-compulsory to the students to cater their interest. It will build the charisma of the school and could inspire students to do more their favorite research. However, the automation should not exceed some standard as to prevent those essential subjects from being ignored.

In a world, the curriculum should be required by the nation. Not only do the students be offered the basic knowledge, but also it will be welcomed by the college and universities. Some schools could be granted to make their own un-compulsory lessons, but those should not be over emphasized.

A nation should require all its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college rather than allow schools in different parts of the nation to determine which academic courses to offer.

In the era of [with] the development of the modern society, more and more high schools want to define their own curriculum depending [on] the concrete curriculum. It has triggered a new round [of] debate in the modern world because it affects every student who will enter colleges or universities. Some maintain that the lesson in the high school should be required [determined] by the nation, some argue that only allowing the schools determine what curriculum could let the students learn by their interests, still some people do not have any idea about it at all. In my opinion, the nation should have the uniform curriculum no matter where the school is located.

At first glance, allowing the school choose the lessons seems [to be] reasonable. [这样的survey如果不是有名有实的话,很难让人信服。]

[这个感觉有点悖理;或者你要说学校没有条件提供这些课程。] The students would find themselves lack much of the basis when they want to research more deeply in colleges or universities. A college president once said, "What we need is the person who have the general skills and knowledge although he or she should choose his or her own major."

Some schools could be granted to make their own un-compulsory lessons, but those should not be over emphasized. [
