120. Decisions can be made quickly, or they can be made after careful thought. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The decisions that people make quickly are always wrong. Use reasons and specific examples to support your opinion.
你自己找本字典看看里面的例句体会下) that quickly-made(这里可以不用hyphen,如果用hyphen请把那个quickly换成形容词形式,关于heyphen和复合词的构成,你自己多看几个复合词的例子就知道了。) decisions intend to(intend to有一种主观意愿的意思,而并非单纯的“倾向于”的意思,你可以用 is tend to be 或者 incline to be ) be wrong in any event. In fact, such decisions have always been judged partially just because people spend less time on them.(这句说的不好,你是不是想表达,in fact, such decisions cannot be taken as wrong just because people spend less time on them) I personally disagree to(with) the statement that decisions that are made quickly are always wrong.
To begin with, a quickly-made decision does not necessarily equate to a bad decision, but an expeditious(呵呵,可可的词用得好啊。) response to certain matters. It might be done after a careful analysis by a quick mind. For instance, the one-minute manager, a character created by Kenneth Blanchard and Spencer Johnson, never spends more than one minute to make any decision.(建议不好用电影里面的事例来做论据,尤其是那些非写实的电影,因为他们本身都是虚构的,怎么来证明别的观点? 比如:many good photographs are taken in a blink. A good photograph requires the photographers to make a quick decision and take a snapshot to capture a precious accidental scene that happens in split second. These decisions are usually based on rational thought, even though they are made in a rather short time.
What is more, flash decisions are preferred in the business competition. They are made by companies to deal with problems such as where to invest and how to take the lead among all competitors. Since marketing(marketing 是营销的意思,market才是市场的意思) resources are limited, those who can decide more quickly often get more opportunities. If these decisions were(are) not effective at all-- which(这里就不要用which了,你用了一个em dash,而且应该是三个小hyphen,不是两个,插入语应为一小句子,不是一个从句。 is the assumption that many people(加一个may, 你有时候说话太绝对了,如果说话总是这么绝对的话,那么英语要那么多的情态动词和语气干吗?) have-- companies would not use this type of decision-making in their daily operations.
Additionally, some decisions made by people's instinct are helpful in emergencies. In one case cited in some news report(不要用cite,毕竟这是新闻,比较讲究原创性的,你就说I have read on the newspaper), a woman was to give birth to a baby on a airplane during its flight; two doctors offered help immediately so that the baby was born safely. The decision made by the doctors was quick, but(考虑下用and, 你觉得哪个好?
It is true that carefully-thought(slow and careful-thought, 加一个slow,以示和前面的fast decision区分) decisions are well organized and, sometimes, more reasonable, but that is not to say(mean 你觉得哪个好?自己推敲下) that quickly-made decisions are always wrong. In summary, decisions that are made quickly are right and even more potent than those carefully thought of in many occasions.
Demonstrates clear competence in writing on both the rhetorical and syntactics level, though the essay may have occasional errors.
