The study of history has value only to the extent that it is relevant to our daily lives.

The speaker asserts that only to the extent of its relevance to our daily lives, can history be worthwhile study. However, I only partly agree with this claim. The study of history has its particular characteristics to the development of the human being society, thereby no matter it is positive or negative, in a direct way or not, it influeces us from other related facets other than our daily life.

Admittedly, the study of history has its merits when correlated with our daily life. In the individual level, the past stories and the previous great people exert, have important influence on the process of individual's growing up to a mature adult. What we acquire from the study of history helps us to identify who we really are and build our value of life and world. Let us take Confucianism for example. Confucianism, which is considered to be one of the most valuable masterpieces in the Chinese Philosophy history, was systemized to be a theory of golden rules gathered from the true essence of life and attracts wild attention from generation to generation. (Being considered..., Confuciansim was systemized...)As is known to all, the keynotes of Confucianism is "ren", which always is translated into "love", "kindness", "care" and so forth. "Ren" is a supreme virtue representing human qualities at their best. There is a famous saying of Confucius that "Do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself.", which reflected Confucius' sparkle thoughts of wisdoms and kindness and which is also regarded as the rules of communication with others by modern people, no matter in China or in every corner of the world. Only a diamond in our literature history, can Confucianism make such contribution to the constrution of people's everyday behavior, let alone other treasures in our rich history.

On the other hand, on the social level, the study manifest the trend both adaption to natural conditions and development of soicety and science. With the help of history, we can take in previous advantages, shown in the biography of some great people or the classical events which put forwards the advancement of the society, to our daily life to work out a way to solve the new problems we face in the new era of time. For example, when mentioning about the found of People Republic of China, we cannot miss the names of groups of people like Chairman Mao, Premier Zhou, and so forth, for they made their achievement to liberate the land of China and return their desirable right of governing themselves back to Chinese people, ending up their calamity they undertook from invaders outsides. Even to now, their ability of virile leadership and preeminent courage and insight as well as their unprecedented stratagem are set to be lofty models to the later leaders and do help them and China to weather crisis one after another. It is obvious that what they gain not only wrote a new page of history at that time, but also maintained directive meaning and placed indispensable effect on present even the future.

Nevertheless, some part of history seems to have nothing to do with the present life, but if we make a scrutiny, it is possible for us to draw a line of the history and the modern life. And we do not need to go too far to find an apt example. The study of the ancient social systems such as feudal society and primitive society in history, for instance, on the surface cannot connected with today's situation, for our social type explicitly differ from them. However, if we can learn some lessons from the failure of the decline of such systems, it will with no doubt guarantee the continuous and stable development of today's society.

From what has been discussed above, we can safely arrive at the conclusion that history is more or less relevant to our daily life and the study of it can be meaningful to a dramatically large extent, if we concentrate on the certain point in history, from which we select the essence, discard the dross, we can reach a higher level of our own improvement.

你说的我能够理解的都已经改过了，不过还有一些问题想再请教一下：

1。儒教的例子感觉根历史研究还是有一定的差距，个人觉得更偏向于一种文化研究，比较难以说明历史研究在个人层面上的作用

我最后总结了一句，把文学历史的重要性往历史对人们日常行为的影响上面并了一下，你看看能不能接受~

2。这一段是想写对于社会的影响的活，最好举一些社会问题参考的例子，感觉上面这个例子不像是有什么relevance可以借鉴，更多的是精神激励

我说了一些他们的精神以及理论等等都可以沿用至今，而且我把relevance理解的很宽泛，包括下面的daily life也是一样，能沾上边的都算数了。你是不是觉得这样有些牵强？

还有这篇提纲你写过没有？能分享一下吗？社会问题的例子我看过一个就是说美国立法里面把以前审过的案件的结果一直沿用。

其实这篇的中间段落也没有什么太偏的东西，看了你的改动，感觉要好一些了，个人意见，现在抓紧写高频，到时只要是写过的肯定都要比没写过得好一些
