In the stressful era, no matter which company wants to survive, the first thing should be learned is to get the profits. But to the statement that the only responsibility of corporate executives is to earn money within the law is overestimated the significance of interests. I do not agree with the statement, except the economic responsibility, the leaders of corporate should take other responsibilities especially to nature and to society.

Admittedly, the ability to survive is the premise for any company in this society.
Every company, as a tissue of society, endeavors to earn as much profits as possible because its need to meet further development, supply salary to their employees and devote to society. It is clearly that from investigating one country's companies we can reasons the economic strength of that country. For example, nearly 60 percent of companies are from American and Japan. Owning to the support from their country, those companies develop steadily and print their spots all over the world. The economic situation of one company has directly relation with their public and country. So the economic responsibility is a significant part of the leader's responsibilities.

Except the economic responsibility, there still other responsibility never can be ignored by those heads of companies. The responsibility to protect the natural circumstance should be paid more attention to. Especially in a competitive atmosphere, every company wants to chase the biggest profits, but on the other hand some of them forget to protect our natural mother. In the southeast of china, about three hundred companies built hydroelectric plant which behavior is within the law, owing to their geographic conditions. Their purposes are so clearly that to earn more money.  But what they ignored was that the unrestrained build of dam would cause environmental damage and exaggerate the climate in the long run. With this speed, in a foreseeable future the southeast of China would never be an attractive place as before.

Moreover, what the leaders of companies should also be 0responsibile for society. Only with a good social function can their companies have a good future. Lots of companies earn their money at the expense of other one else's interests. Such as those cigarette companies, they earn their huge interests at the expense of the health of human beings. It is so lucky that today more company leaders acknowledge the necessary to keep a health society. More big companies attend the Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and pay more attention to social problems, from employee minimum wage to environmental problems, poverty, starved, and diseases. Good social images could help big companies run on a healthy way and help our society become a harmony world.

From what has been discussed above, we can draw the conclusion that except the responsibility to make as much money as possible, the leaders should take the social responsibility and protect our environment. The more health our society is, the more prosperous their companies will be.  8.6
