University of Glasgow、University of Edinburgh咨询了此事。

Dear Irene,
We do not give student's a discount if they pay all of their
tuition fees in one go. It is sometimes possible for students to pay their
tuition fees by installments. For more details, please see the attached
document.
Best wishes,
Matthew

Subject: Question, THanks
Dear Matthew,
Now in China, many students have the same confusion about their way to
pay the tuition fees to the university.
As they say, if they pay the one-year's tuition fees to you for once,
they can get a discount from your university. The discount maybe will
for 3% or 5% of the total fees. Is this true?
But as I know, usually if students pay the tuition fees to you by
several times, they will be required to pay the extra 3% of the tuition fees
to the university.
I would be very grateful if you could clarify this situation for me.
Will both of these two rules be suitable to your university finance
regulation? This is very important to the students.
Many thanks to your assistance; I am looking forward to hearing from
you soon.
Kind regards
Irene

Dear Irene
At present only one of these is true.
If students pay one year's fee at once, at the start, there is no
discount.
But if they pay in instalments there will be an extra admin charge of
3%.
Best wishes,
Iain
