topic：It is hard to distinguish tradition and modernization
How to classify and identify those two concepts? In such a cross concept, we need a developing slant and relative vision  
1 my opinion: the identification and classification of those two concepts
2 we should learn from history
3 it is important to keep update for today's competitive life.
4 those two concepts are not opposite but corresponding ...  they base on each other and influence each other
5 In order to adapt the president, we should make the proper choice which suite the current situation.

In the modern society, with the fast developing technology, everything is changing rapidly. Someone said, the rushing time formed the world into two parts: someone stay in his old tradition and those X generation is typical with their electric fashion. Such differences are so obviously that someone even claims that it is incompatible between Tradition and modernization. However, I don’t think those two concepts are unmixable. I believe one can live well with a life style convening both tradition and modernization.

Firstly, it is hard to imaging one can life a happy one without any tradition infection. In the modern psychology theory, scientific research told us happiness is a feeling that based on a mature humanity and a complete character. All of those two elements are based on the proper development of one's self-insight, which is only formed in the traditional past and developed though out his entire life. We understood our life by accepting our past; we improve ourselves from the past events and by taking the lessons in the tradition, we enriched our experience.

Secondly, it is important to keep learning new skills in the fast changing world. People who care the tradition and old things are commonly for the reason that the olds are not only for daily uses but also as vessels of their memory. However, it is the nature rules that everything will change in time. Even the solidest heirloom has its ending day. Things you used in daily will broke without a proper accessory matching. It is not so wise to be upset for those changing. In fact, the scientific technology has greatly changed our world in to a convenient one. The daily production will be out of days, but we can find the record of our memory in some modern things. The MP4 can record the voice of your friends. One can carry on their favorite photos on trip in a small piece of chip instead of carrying a huge stodgy album. Once used the new methods for one's personal emotional loading, the modern fashion can be a pleasant substitute for the tradition. What is more, in this competitive world, anyone who can adapt the rushing and keep on learning can stand at the top of his career fields.

Further more, tradition and modernization are not two opposite concepts. From surface, it might be hard to say something is modern without comparing with something old. In deeper, however, are there any exactly mark that by which we can absolutely distinguish those two concepts? Or can any second be called as a milestone to classify the past and current? In the changing world, those modern nowadays will be the traditions tomorrow. It is meaningless to dawn in the question like "Am I a traditional person or a modern one?" In fact, there are lots of connection between tradition and modern. The modern today will past; the tradition is the faded modern in history. Those "out of date" might be popular in future and the definition of Fashion is in vain.

All in all, it is insignificant to distinguish the tradition or modern. We live in the proper way we preferred. And the living style I preferred is "keep on moving; learn from the past and expect for better future..."

Those "out of date" might be popular in future and the definition of Fashion is in vain.(呵呵，很有趣的论点，因为现在新的以后就会变成旧的，所以他们就不对立了，好像可以，但是我又觉得本题好像没有意思让你讨论这个方面。题目是说新和旧是对立的，我们只能择其一，所以题目应该是承认新旧存在的基础上，关键要我们论证它们的关系，换句话说，就是要我们去分析就是在某一特定的时代，新旧是存在的，生活在这个时代的我们是不是只能选择一个，而不是要我们讨论时代一变新旧也变了。其实你可以举一些现在新旧结合的例子，比如结合传统的艺术，促进参观名胜古迹的科技等等)
