看在你申请的学校中排什么水平了，还有program，prof跟你match的程度。另外，其他申请审理的状态。我觉得感兴趣的prof最重要。

我的建议是再等等，一定要等等，前年这个学校耍流氓，发了OFFER，后来又以各种理由收回去不少，无耻之极。。。。

我的朋友今年春节拿到那里的offer，护照办好了，签证费也交了，就等它的i20——现在还不来i20的表的学校估计已经少数了，谁想却等到据信——这种翻云覆雨的风格我长这么大倒是第一次见到；下面是学校的信件：
     I am writing to update you about your admission to Ohio University, in the
Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.  After lengthy discussions with the
Dean's Office in Arts and Sciences, I regret, as I have been told by the Dean of the College, that approximately seven incoming graduate positions for the Fall of
2004 will go unfilled.  I am disappointed that your acceptance is one that will
not be processed and that your acceptance must be withdrawn.
   The Department and University are under incredible budget constraints, with
the loss of 1-3% per year of our operating budget from the state of Ohio over
the last several years.  We had hoped that the College/University would be able to increase our TA budget so that we could accept a larger graduate class for
2004-2005, but unfortunately the economy in the state of Ohio has not recovered sufficiently to help the budget process.  Unfortunately this will leave the department with a number of unfilled TA positions.
        I am sorry that this process has taken so long, but I had held out
hope until earlier this week that we would be able to make all of our offers for
the until earlier this week that we would be able to make all of our offers for
the coming academic year.  The Dean decided that our budget would not be
increased to make any additional TA offers.
        I understand that this is a hardship for you as a student, but I wanted to let you know before making any arrangements to come to the United States.  There are some signs that the economy is growing at a small pace, but the
current fiscal constraints make it impossible for the department to make any
additional offers at this time.  We hope that next year we will be able to make a
number of additional offers to bring the department to full TA strength.
