疑问1：还要经过fomally approved是什么意思啊，究竟同不同意我进啊
疑问2：register for classes 是什么意思
疑问3：an appointment是约interview的意思吗

1 系里推荐录取，最后要统一给研院做最后决定，不过一般都没什么问题

2 就是注册课程，一般在国外，课程是自己选，要上哪个课需要注册

3 是跟教授预约个时间, 他可以指导你选课

关于资金的问题，最好用自己家的钱
