It may be tempting to state that through the fittest means of teaching and learning, education would be truly effective, since students can thus study with great enthusiasm and concentration. However, the author precludes other possibilities that could promote the process of instilling as well, and does not take the feasibility and practicality of the approach into consideration.

Admittedly, I appreciate the pleasant and reasonable intention in the issue. After all, every individual has a different characteristic and inclination, and the interests can sometimes perform miracles in one’s access to truth or knowledge. Franklin, led by his great interests in discovering the unknown of the natural world, finally seizing the electrical fluid. Yet when it comes to education, the professor always instills the entirely same materials in students to fulfill his or her task, leaving the students to pick and digest the whole. If the manner of organizing a class can divert to the opposite angle, that is, the student-centered class, the learners' various interests can be met as a result, and their enthusiasm, curiosity and creativity would undoubtedly be inspired, which can play as strong motivations toward the final goal. And if the class can be designed to fit the individual needs, the students would study with high concentration and a definite goal, thus can enhance the efficiency of education.

Though the proposal in the issue has its value to a large extent, the author does not take the feasibility and practicality of the student-centered class into consideration. Perhaps the students' interests are so diverse that all the subjects available cannot cover all the interests. As a result of that, the students who do not find their dream classes in the schedule would feel dull. At the same time, we should not overlook the potential economic budget of the specified designation. The core concept of effeciency, from the standpoint of the holistic society, involves two parts, the benefit and the cost. For the educators, they have to classify the requirements offered by the students, analyze thoroughly individual existing knowledge structure as well as every learner’s learning habit, hire new teachers, increase the salaries of the faculty inevitably and settle the equipment required by a particular subject. Common sense and life experience indicate that, in essence, designation of totally student-centered class is even beyond our imagination.

Furthermore, the statement, as the author believes, carries the implication that we cannot resort to other measures to improve the efficiency than providing classes aimed at individual needs and interests. Reality is obviously not the case. On the subject of improving the efficiency of teaching, we may resort to CAI as well. Through the use of CAI, the student can be involved in the learning process rather than passively absorbing the drab theories taught by the professor, and the learners can get the feedback as soon as they finish the tests. The cost of CAI is much less expensive than that of the former, and the process of practice can be much less complex.

In conclusion, beneficial as it might be, the statement may be excessively utopian and overlook other alternatives, which may dwarf the suggested approach. After an insightful analysis, it seems possible that the educators can divert the given mold of class to student-centered class step by step, while keep the transform within their abilities and assisted with some more practical alternatives.

兴趣的作用:enhance the efficiency of education。 Though the proposal in the issue has its value to a large extent, the author does not take the feasibility and practicality of the student-centered class into consideration. Furthermore, the statement, as the author believes, carries the implication that we cannot resort to other measures to improve the efficiency than providing classes aimed at individual needs and interests. In conclusion, beneficial as it might be, the statement may be excessively utopian and overlook other alternatives, which may dwarf the suggested approach.

Argu36
Conclusion: children are raised by their parents and the observation-centered approach is invalid.
Refute: 1、time is different: the culture of T may have changed during these 20 years.
2、The interview cannot lend strong support to the conclusion.
Children talk more about their parents does not imply they are not reared by the entire village.
Parents influence them more and directly, but other citizens in village may teach them how to survive in wild areas and supply them with food and other necessities.
3、No evidence is provided to prove the interview-centered method would lead to more accurate understanding of child-rearing traditions.
Observation may be useful in some cases.
Other factors: the capability of the researchers and the analysis after interview is complete.
Argu111
Conclusion: DS can increase its profits by discontinuing its use of the 'Endure' manufacturing process.
Refute: 1、The fact that customer actually purchases new Dura-Socks every three months does not substantiate that they do not emphasize the endurance of the socks.
Perhaps they continue to wear old socks after purchasing new pairs.
It is the endurance that attracts the customers.
2、The representative of the survey is open to doubt.
No evidence is provided about other regions where people buy DK.
Perhaps the respondents in the survey are mainly young ladies who is fond of stylish appearance and various colors.
3、No evidence is provided to support DK can increasing its profits by discontinuing its use of the 'Endure' manufacturing process.
Perhaps DK is famous for its endurance, and the revenue may decline after the measure.
The other competitor can simulate the DK in style and color, but hard in endurance.

Issue13
Agree:
1.        A culture defines itself in various ways—by its unique traditions, rituals, mores attitudes and beliefs, but especially language. Therefore, indigenous language is a culture heritage of a region’s natives. The extinction of a people’s language leads to a diminished sense of pride, dignity, and self-worth.
2.        Languages facilitate us to understand existed documents and further understand the culture of people who speaks that language. To maintain a language which confronts the danger of extinction is to protect long-lasting culture, through which we understand further about a nation or a religion.
3.        It is natural process that many languages extinct as fewer and fewer people speak them. In today’s society of globalization, language barriers serve primarily to impede the cross-culture communication and then international trade and commence. Moreover, languages barriers give birth to misunderstanding, distrust, discord and even conflicts among nations.
4.        Government should not allocate a considerable energy and money to maintain the daily use of lesser-known languages deviant from the natural laws of evolution. However, certain amount of energy and money is absolutely necessary to maintain languages in academic application.
5.        It is not only the responsibility for governments of countries in which those languages are spoken, but also the whole responsibility of all the countries, because languages are also the treasure of the whole human being. Other countries also gain many benefits from the knowledge of languages in severe danger.

Issue51 "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

It may be tempting to state that through the fittest means of teaching and learning, education would be truly effective, since students can thus study with great enthusiasm and concentration. However, the author precludes other possibilities that could promote the process of instilling as well, and does not take the feasibility and practicality of this approach into consideration.

After all, every individual has different characteristics and inclinations, and interests can sometimes perform miracles in one’s access to truth or knowledge. Franklin, led by his great interests in discovering the unknown of the natural world, seizing the electrical fluid with his invention of  . Look into the realm of education, the professor always displays the same and unchangeable materials in class, leaving students to pick and digest the whole despite the their personal inclinations. On the contrary, if the manner of organizing a class can divert to the opposite angle, that is, the student-oriented class, the learners' various interests can be met as a result, and their enthusiasm, curiosity and creativity would undoubtedly be inspired, which can play as strong motivations toward the final goal. Thereby, given the class designed to fit the individual needs, the students would study with high concentration and a definite goal, and the initiative can enhance the efficiency of education.

While the proposal in the statement has its value to a large extent, the author does not take the feasibility and practicality of the student-centered class into consideration. Perhaps the students' interests are so diverse that the current subjects available cannot cover their various interests. Under such circumstances, the students who fail to find their interested classes on the schedule would feel depressed, thus inhibiting their motivation of learning. Meanwhile, to put the proposal into practise, the potential economic budget of the specified designation also set an obstacle. The core concept of efficiency, from the standpoint of the holistic society, involves two parts, the benefit and the cost.(在这里对效率又做了另一层定义) For the educators, they have to classify the requirements offered by the students, analyze thoroughly individual existing knowledge structure as well as every learner’s learning habit, hire new teachers, increase the salaries of the faculty inevitably and install the equipment required by a particular subject. Common sense and life experience indicate that, in essence, designation of totally student-centered class is obviously beyond the current education institution’s ability.

Furthermore, the statement, as the author believes, carries the implication that we cannot resort to other measures to improve the efficiency than aiming at individual needs and interests. Unfortunately, the case might not be true. In view of improving the efficiency of teaching, we could employ some specific facilities, such as CAI(Computer Assistant Instructor), as well. Through the use of it, the student can be involved in the learning process by the vivid image and sound rather than passively absorbing drab theories imparted by the professor, and the learners can gain the feedback once they finish the tests, while asking the questions in point without worry about being despised. Moreover, the cost of CAI is much less expensive than that of overturn the traditional manner of education, and the process of practice can be much less complex.

In conclusion, beneficial as it might be, the statement may be excessively utopian and overlook other alternatives, which may dwarf the suggested approach. After an insightful analysis, it seems possible that the educators can divert the given mold of class to student-centered class gradually, while keep the transformation within their abilities and assisted with some more practical alternatives.
