背景:
国内排名比较前的学校,英语本科
GPA  79.4 (学校的要求是3.0,但是还是收我了,所以非牛人不要怕!)
GRE 380+730+4.5 (够次的了!!)
TOEFL 610+4.5 (丢英语系毕业生的脸!)
工作经验: 在孤儿院和社会福利院一年半的口译

申请专业: Communication Disorders (就是沟通障碍,针对残疾人说话不清楚,吞咽有问题之类的)

现在在申请RA,虽然只有1/4Time,而且系里只有两个名额,但是还是要争取一下.

感谢寄托,虽然我很少发帖子,但是天天晚上都得上来看看,得到很大的鼓励!

As it states in the attached letter of the first email:  we have offered you an assistantship and admission to the Chemistry Ph.D. program pending the approval of the Dean of the Graduate School, successful completion of the UW English proficiency exam and available resources.  At this time we are asking that you let us know if you are interested in this offer.  Please read the entire letter carefully so that you can understand the terms and expectations of this award.

今天查status，查到ASU已经是admitted ，小米说奖学金等4月1号才公布，没办法，只能慢慢等了 ；
前两天还收到了University of central forida的offer ，TA: 14000$/year + tuition waiver 由于这学校只算是保低，所以一直在等其它学校的消息，不知道像Austin，pitts等学校什么时候才能有消息啊～～～


也祝大家都能早日收到自己中意的大offer,心想事成！！！

TAMU Fellowship: $1833.33 per month and tuition waiver
USC RA position: 待定,估计和TAMU差不多(加州消费肯定高)
