今天查邮件,收到UW(西雅图华盛顿大学)医学院 MCB 的offer了

还是挺高兴的

毕竟是一个将华大医学院10多个不同department的研究综合在一起的项目
包括药理,病理,免疫,发育生物学,微生物学等等学科

学生有很好的rotation机会

看了一下,这种全能型项目在美国还不是特别多(华大医学院的研究应该是排到

美国前几位的,如果按US NEWS研究性医学院排名,基本在6-7位,和斯坦福差不

多)

顺便提一下我的背景,还未申请的同学可以适当参考一下.

有交换留学背景(一年) GPA 3.89(美国)
在国内平均分92,专业平均分93.3(生物科学)
637+5
1320+4.5
有研究摘要被全美血液年会收录(第二作者)

在美国交换学习的时候通过提出申请
已经将面试环节提前完成

所以能提前收到录取消息

运气比较好吧

都是AD,都是master, 而且目前来看无offer可能.继续等其他的.
UFL的专业是management, MSU专业是advertising.

背景: G,T高, 国内重点本科,英国Top5的master, 无正式经验,无paper,有大师级教授推荐.

stevens这个学校很奇怪，系里的人不怎么给你发邮件，都是航空信告诉我的，我在收到我的acceptance letter的时候都不知道被录取了，研究生院的人也没有email通知我一声，汗～～～
看了一下通知书上面写的，ms学费很贵：
Tuition  ：965 per credit for school of Engineering
General Fee  ：110.00
Technology Fee:  $10.00 per credit

大家看一下上面后两个费用是啥？不太懂。。。。

还有一个是polytechnic 的ad，还没有官方ad，但是EE专业管招生的Prof.给我邮件了，说： Based on your excellent academicrecord, I have signed for your admission to our PhD program.However, it will take some time for us to determine whetherwe can offer you a fellowship.
估计现在还在讨论是不是能给我奖
关于第二个的ad，我问一下哈，大家说教授变卦的可能性大么？怕教授突然变卦。。。。
现在就是赶紧陶瓷，能套到奖就套奖

这个学校是用平信通知的,之前没有email没有电话,信箱里唰的一声就杀出来一封平信,当时吓坏我了,想着这么无声无息的肯定是据信,呵呵
