TOPIC: ARGUMENT145 - A new study collected data that shows that people who snore are more likely to gain weight than are people who do not snore. It is well known that many people who snore also stop breathing frequently during the night for a few seconds, a condition called sleep apnea. The interruption of breathing wakes the person-often so briefly that the waking goes unnoticed-and can leave the person too tired during the day to exercise. Anyone who snores, therefore, should try to eat less than the average person and to exercise more.

From this argument, not a clear and believable cause is given to readers.

No evidence shows apnea occurring on snoring people. Even it occurs on some of them, it may not relate to disturb people's sleeping. As we know, no person can deeply sleep during all night because of dreaming, loud sound outside, high light, and so on. But people also feel fresh and energetic on next day. What is more, new researchers also have the opinion that deeply sleeping all night is the characters of some disease for example heart disease.

On the other hand, weaken from sleep in night has no relationship on sleep less or fell tired on the second day. Maintaining sleeping time or sleep a little more can easily solve this problem. Once one gets enough sleep, it is no reason of snore to make one feel tired during the day to exercise.

And the most important is that eating less and to exercising more may not the best way to maintain health and control weight of a snore person if one really have problem on sleeping. When one has felt tired in day time, eating less food can only lead one's body more weaken and more tired because of lacking ATP for activities. That is a bad recycle for anyone. It will not only influence the function of one's mind make one absence of mind on normal work but also bad to muscle and digest function. Doing more exercise while one do not have enough energy on daily working also makes one feel too load to oneself and may cause one catching cold or falling sick at last.

So how can a person who is snore maintain health even gain weight while so weak?
