Overwhelmingly influenced by booming proceeding of networks, people throughout world are growing concerned that the personal morality of the leaders of each nation. However, I believe that in order to help those to be an effective leader, the public's attention should mainly focus on their management abilities instead of gnawing them with the highest ethical and moral standards.

To begin with, there is no denying that a honest leader with a kind heart certainly does much good to our society, especially when he or she doesn't has any bad habits or scandals. First of all, he or she may pay attention to the public weal and does his or her utmost to providing finical support for the poor. In my country, chairman Hu was a typical example of goodness. What a good news it is that He and his partners decided to relieve all the tax for the poor farmers all over China under so much pressure! In addition, a leader with high ethical standards will set a good example for the nation and spread the right idea of morality, like Abraham Lincoln bring home to the American that everybody is equal in the democratic society.

However, if we turn our attention to some other leaders, espicially their unbelievable scandals, we are compelled to admit that the era of perfect leaders like Abraham Lincoln has past for long. It is might perhaps be wise to focus our eyes on their work abilities. I follow the reason that too much exigency on the leader's personal morality only can lead to the terrible hypocrisy and twisted human nature. What's more, they may lie to the public in order to protect their perfect image. The obvious manifestation is Bill Clinton. If we cast a look at his famous scandal with Lewinsky, we will find he insisted lie until the report by Lewinsky had been open in public. Besides, it will encourage the public to become Intolerance to the leaders. As a result, So much is the pressure that they can't spare no effort for our nation. In short, all this above provide powerful reasons for we to treat the leaders as a common people.

Finally, moving on to a wider theme, many people will agree that we should pay more attention to the leaders' work ability. In fact, there is no one can be as perfect as god. A further solid argument for this view is that there are many other good characters for an effective leader.  The wisdom of a leader can help a nation to thrive; the courage of a leader can help a nation to survive. When the UK was in danger in the World War II, it is Winston Churchill's "nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat" boost the English. Undoubtly, he is an effective leader and even an outstanding one. Although you may hear a few petticoat affairs about him, nobody could deny that.

In sum, the argument about whether an effective leader must maintain the highest can be answered by my work. There is good sense in allowing them to live as an ordinary people so that they can serve for us better.
