According to this statement, it is necessary and desirable that political leaders withhold information from the public. I concede that political leaders withholding information from the public is somewhat reasonable. However, as far as I am concerned, whether they should withhold it or tell the truth depends on specific circumstances.
In the first place, the borderline of information that should be told to public or kept from them is greatly important. To some extent, this borderline is ambiguous and hard to be defined by political leaders themselves. In a turbulent world, it will have to be established by many experts before these leader begin seriously to handle the problem.//好像可以在深入点点吧!
In the second place, some state secrets that have a connection with national security, the benefit of people, and the development of our country could not be exposed to public. It is important not to take this assertion about telling the truth too far. Political leaders' speeches in television, magazines, newspapers, radio and other means(可以都用in吗?) of mass communication have an greatly strong impact on people' daily lives and even will get up a panic, especially some bad news. Moreover, if some state secrets are divulged to lawbreakers, they will trespass on public property, betray their country to the enemy, and threaten the national security. And Dala Lama, is a famous reactionist that tries for dividing Tibet from China. London Bombings, a terrorist attack took place in 2005. All these warn us that some information that told by political leaders will possibly has an influence on national security and the development of the country.//从两个方面论述,举例很流畅的!
In the third place, some political leaders withhold information so that they have the power and some of their exploits will not be exposed as fictitious. For example, some political leader-elect's campaign receive black money, and these leaders do their possible 可能我见得太少了!:L)to conceal it because of being escaped from resignation. Enron, was responsible for a great deal of money donated to Bush and the Repubilcians because of the government' support in energy policy. In addition, an official investigation took by Joseph McCarthy about anti-communist investigation, was widely viewed as an abusive witchhunt[/color](好可爱的词) that violated civil liberties. It became a famous scandal about the government. Bill Clinton's scandals, from Whitewater to Travelgate to Filegate to the Monica Lewinsky matter, were known to public.
Consequently, due to analysis mentioned above, which sometimes intertwine to form an organic whole and thus become more persuasive than any one of them, we may safely arrive at the conclusion that both withholding the information from the public and telling the truth to them could exert an influence on people's lives. And it is important to differentiate the former from the latter.
例子:And Dala Lama, is a famous reactionist that tries for dividing Tibet from China. London Bombings, a terrorist attack took place in 2005.(犯罪分子利用国家机密危害社会)
Enron, was responsible for a great deal of money donated to Bush and the Repubilcians because of the government' support in energy policy.
In addition, an official investigation took by Joseph McCarthy about anti-communist investigation, was widely viewed as an abusive witchhunt that violated civil liberties. It became a famous scandal about the government.
Bill Clinton's scandals, from Whitewater to Travelgate to Filegate to the Monica Lewinsky matter, were known to public.
