Can outsiders who bring their knowledge and experience of their field lead to significantly advantage of anther field of study ?I fundamentally agree with the speaker that the contribution of outside field cannot be undermined, However, the speaker overlooked some of  special science field can hardly borrow from other field.

As I see ,there are two compelling arguments for supporting that only outsiders make a important role on the significantly progress of the most field. The first is that the outsiders can provide the technical support that can serve some key problem. The expert cannot go any further without such support introduced into his field. To illustrate this, there is an appropriate example that is very persuasive: the work concerning the identification of the structure of DNA was aided by a X-ray diffraction pictures of  DNA molecule and what’s more ,and the abundant  knowledge of physics and chemistry of its finders also did help to the pioneering work,. a landmark in the development of biology science. Support without such outsider knowledge ,the finding may be delay for at least several years, which may delay the research for exploring the human.

The second, and the once that I find most compelling, is about the combine of the disciplines. In modern world, No other disciplines can be exclusively existed. So heavily the particular science connected with each other, that give birth to the new disciplines, such as the biochemistry, biophysics, and it is because of such perfect combine that spurs the significant advantage in such disciplines.

One the other hand, some of the pure  science disciplines cannot get any help from  other field for the content the expert of such disciplines are too hard for any other theory to touch with. For instant, when it comes to the pure mathematics which is just a series of theory and makes it difficult to some ordinary and practical use ,in that case the even the disciplines such as economy, counting ,can hardly have chance to use such theory. Therefore such science disciplines have to exist sorely to exploring the unknown world.

In sum, in the modern and fast developed world, without bring knowledge and experience from other field, an field of study cannot go an further .However before we draw such conclusion ,we should no neglect some pure field which no other filed can do help.
