The study of academic discipline is one of the most important parts in the process of our modern society and social civilization. Particularly, it is said that studying an academic discipline significantly brings various changes and alteration to the way we look at the world, although the world itself stays the same as before. Moreover, the study meanwhile also empowers us to construct and ameliorate the world more effectively.

To begin with, the study of academic disciplines provides us new approaches and tools to recognize the modern world. My personal experience in studying the discipline of Econometrics is a case in point to illustrate the considerable changes brought by an academic discipline to view the world. I still remember before studying Econometrics, I tend to hasten to come to the conclusion of the economic data and frequently get confused by the complex causal relationship between different economic phenomena. Fortunately, after the study of Econometrics, I realize the importance of dealing with financial data and even more importantly I obtain a great many methods of processing and analyzing the correlation between financial data, such as Generalized method of moment, Maximum likelihood estimation, which aim to analyze data with distinctive features. From then on, I could take full use of the learnt methods and equipment to objectively and accurately look at the complicated economic phenomena in the modern world. In a word, the study of an academic discipline could endow us with powerful methods and theories to perceive the world around us.

In addition, studying an academic discipline also enable us to establish a more improved and complete perspective, value and stands to recognize the world. For instance, the study of history teaches us lessons and experiences for the previous individuals, which undoubtedly help us to understand the human nature and foibles existing in people characters. Then when we observe the people around us or look at the prominent individuals, we are more likely to recognize the attributes on them and hold an objective and fair judgment. Another convincing example is the study of literature. As we know, literature with affluent knowledge serves as the guide of our life, and enriches our knowledge in many respects. Sometimes, from literature, we have even deeper and more profound understanding of life which enables us to look at what happen in the modern world more calmly with mature thoughts.

Furthermore, the acquisitions from studying an academic discipline not only include the new perspectives and powerful methods for perceiving the world, but also the real tools which could be exploited to construct and ameliorate the current world. Take chemistry and biology for instance, as one of the basic scientific areas, the deep study and research in the particular area could apparently contribute to inventions of more useful methods for dealing with the current serious water pollution in some areas in the world. Besides, it is obvious that the study and constant effort in the field of medicine could serve to more disease of human, further keep the fit and health of people with more effective medicine and vaccine.

To sum up, never should we underestimate or ignore the significant role of studying an academic discipline, which provides both powerful tools and new perspectives for us to recognize the modern world. Further, it helps us to more effectively construct and improve the current situation of the world around us.

总体上，我觉得这个题目讲的是学习对人的看法形成过程的作用。我不知道这样扩增成学习的作用对不对？你的重点在学习。题目里讲了两句话，特别是后面一句，完全在讲看法。
